Will it charge my iPhone with the other plugged into a HDMI cable, plugged into my stereo receiver

The adapter will not charge through the HDMI connection alone. However, it has an additional lighting port (next to the HDMI port) where you can connect your standard lightning-to-USB charging cable, and then the device will charge while displaying video through the HDMI port.

Will this work with Netflix?

As of 5-19-23 this actual Apple Brand Hub is the only hub I’ve found that works with every app that’s possible. • If you have any problems: First make sure your phone & the app (or apps) are all updated. Next unplug everything & reconnect. If problem/s persists, unplug everything, reset your phone & reconnect everything. • I’ve only found 1 app this Apple Hub doesn’t work with - (IMDB’s) Freevee app. It will give you an error message: “Watching videos on external devices isn’t available for free episodes”. Weird but again it’s the only app. • Have used this on many apps & works great. So far I’ve used: Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Tubi, HBO Max, Shudder, MGM+, Disney+, YouTube, CinemaHD, Paramount+, Pluto, Plex, Philo, Peacock, Starz, Nickelodeon, Discovery+, FilmRise, Fawesome, SlingTV, VRV, RetroCrush, HIDIVE, Crackle & Crunchyroll with success of all work perfectly.

I want to connect my phone but use my Bluetooth headphones that I use with my phone. Is that possible or does the audio only go through the tv?

I think the *best* option would be to use the iPhone to send video via HDMI, and audio via Bluetooth. However - there is also a device that exists which will pull the audio from the HDMI, then you can either plug a speaker directly into that - OR - buy a device which take audio Jack input and then sends out a Bluetooth signal. I’ve used this method to get Bluetooth speakers to work when using an XBox one with a projector. There is sound quality degradation, but im just happy to be able to use my Xbox on a projector outside and have loud audio :) Hope this helps
