Deep flavor profile, clean finish
I really love this organic espresso. We have a Breville Expresso maker with grinder (now over 10 years old and still loving it) and this makes a truly great espresso when ground and brewed in one shot. It has a complex, deep and satisfying flavor and has a very clean mouth feel and taste. This last point is important because many coffees are too heavily processed and end up with a chemical residual taste or feel. I think DD is guilty of this. If you are a regular decaf espresso drinker, you know that finding a good decaf espresso that has full body is not always easy. This one does not disappoint and it's organic beans and decaf process ensures a natural experience. Have also gifted this to others who also felt similarly about it. While not cheap, it's not outrageous given current premium coffee prices.

Excellent tasting Decaf.
Excellent coffee, great flavor no one would know that it's actually decaf coffee.

Amazing coffee
This whole bean decaffeinated is bar far the best coffee I have found. This is better than coffees twice as expensive. If you like a dark roast coffee with low acidity then this is for you.

One of the better decaf coffees
It is tough to find a good decaf coffee that is whole bean, organic and doesn’t taste horrible. This one is pretty good. I tried it on a whim as my regular decaf was unavailable. I use it in an espresso machine so if you’re familiar with that process then you will understand why the 4 stars as opposed to 5. First, these beans are a little more difficult to work with to achieve a perfect extraction. I found myself altering my tamping to make up for the unforgiving nature of the coffee just to get a decent extraction. It was hit or miss but if I could get it in the range then it would make a drinkable latte. I found the flavor of these beans to be more suitable in iced drinks such as iced latte or iced americano. Also, since it is not a “freshly” roasted coffee, I noticed the bean quality deteriorated quickly after opening so I would recommend storing the beans in an air tight container that is made for coffee storage. The beans that I stored in that manner deteriorated far less than beans that I kept tightly sealed in the bag.

Amazing!!!!
So so happy I decided to try this decaf blend. I am pregnant and can no longer tolerate caffeine besides a small cup of coffee. But I am an iced latte every morning kind of girl so I've been making at home for a few months. Started going to dunkin for their decaf iced coffee which is Meh. But bought this to continue making my iced lattes at home and it's so good it tastes like a high end coffee shop latte. Pulls really well after being finely ground even with just my cheap mr.coffee espresso machine. Definitly will be repurchasing when I run out

Good price. Flavor quality? Time will tell
I recently started drinking decaf coffee after years of being a hardcore regular-coffee-loving person. I like good quality drip coffee. Most decaf coffees have a chalky or watery flavor. This one has a decent flavor, although the flavor is not epic, chocolatey, or deep like many regular coffees. I would go back to buying the Trader Joe's decaf, but I wanted beans decaffeinated naturally, rather than chemically. (Not to say that TJ's decaf is chemically decaffeinated; all I have to go off of is what they tell me on the coffee can, and their labels don't mention "swiss water" or "organic" anywhere.) All in all, I think this brand has good flavor compared to other beans in its price-point category. I have had a better cup of decaf, but those brands tend to charge almost double for the pound. As a frugal person, I will probably keep drinking this in the morning and venture forth to my local coffee places for a better cup of decaf on special occasions.

Tastes burnt, but watery?
I'm assuming I got a bad bag, because most of these reviews can't be talking about the same stuff I received. I waited a couple weeks to open while I finished off the rest of the other coffee I had, but I wish I hadn't. Upon opening they seemed very, very dry and brittle, but figured I'd give it a go anyway. After grinding them up, I made a couple cups in my regular drip coffee maker. It was extremely weak and watery, but burnt tasting. I decided to try again, with a little more grounds. All that did was enhance the burnt flavor, and it still was very translucent and nowhere near a 'dark roast'. I also tried grinding some up a little courser and making cold brew. It was awful, the burnt taste so strong it tasted more like an ashtray than coffee. I threw out the bag they came in since it wasn't resealable, but I know the roast date and expiration date weren't anything too ridiculous or I wouldn't have even opened it. I'm not sure how to reach out to the seller, or that they even would do anything about it since it's been over a month since I bought them. Even though I'm guessing it's just a bad batch, I probably won't be trying them again.

"Jet Black Oily Beans with a full bodied taste - and low acid!"
This is the top five best Decaf coffees I've ever tasted even among those I've roasted with my home roaster. This coffee is permanently on my Subscribe and Save list. For this lot, the most dominant taste is a rich, creamy, chocolate full-bodied taste. There is not a hint of tartness. Smooth as real 100 percent Kona, Jamaican Blue, or Peets New Guinea Highland. The coffee is naturally sweet, which speaks to the perfection of the roast. NO burnt or imperfectly roasted beans. I set my grinder to a few clicks finer than what is normal for a drip coffee maker. I brewed this coffee using the "Gold Setting" of my Breville Precision Thermal Coffee Maker. I used 7 grams less than what Breville recommends. Everyone needs an exceptional decaf in the house for after-dinner desserts and sipping by the fireplace or campfire. You will not be disappointed. Wow! What a find!
