Not usable for bird watching in garden.
Very poor optics. Dull image, and doesn't focus within range of garden. Not usable as a bird watching monoscope for children. Bought through Amazon as a "nearly new" item, so no support ftom Hape, the original retailers. Clearly the quality control from Amazon failed on this "nearly new" item.

If you think it doesn't work when you open it indoors go outside and look at something further away, good product definitely for older children

Does not focus
Unable to focus properly, don't normally post reviews but I'd avoid this product. It looks good, etc but simply not fit for purpose.
