Exactly the Eye Protection My Laser Cutter Needed keeps the bad Rays OUT
I’ve been using these safety goggles for a few months now, and the difference between these and the basic glasses that came with my xTool cutter is honestly huge. I didn’t realize how poorly my original glasses were protecting my eyes until I upgraded — I had even started noticing some night-vision strain while using the machine. These goggles immediately felt better. They fully seal around the face, so there’s no stray laser light sneaking in around the edges or bouncing off your skin into your eyes. The coverage feels purpose-built for real laser work, not just generic shop glasses. What I appreciate most is that they offer this level of protection without the sky-high price of official U.S.-certified eyewear. For the average laser hobbyist or small shop, these hit that perfect sweet spot between safety, comfort, and affordability. these feel and work great! If you’re working around diode or infrared lasers, I highly recommend these. They’ve become my go-to.

These work great
I found that you can pay many different prices for this technology. These work great and are in full compliance with OSHA. The fit around the ears is going to be different from person to person - I added some tape.

works for my home laser; fits well; adjustable
I ordered these to wear when using my home laser treatment for pain. I use it on my neck and shoulders and didn't want the light to get near my eyes. This works well to block any red light that escapes. I can adjust it to fit my head without pinching.

Superb Eye Protection When Using Hi Output Lasers
I two pair of FreeMascot goggles in separate nm range for use with a 445nm and also a high uv range. They are well made. High rated 6+ and 8+ As I recall. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. Never operate any h/o laser device without serious eye protection as there are few second chances and damage can be permanent. These give me enough pass through on the harmless wavelengths to see the line spot but completely erase all the bright blue on the 445nm beam. Which is excellent and keep my eyes from any strain whatsoever. The clarity is good and I didn’t notice any distortion at edges. I did make a rookie mistake sort of unrelated when I tried to use them on a motorcycle ride. Everything looked a little off, but not until I approached a stoplight did I realize “ugh oh” and quickly flipped them down. You can’t see red yellow and green and it was just a reminder that properties of visible spectrum are exactly what this is all about. Canceling harmful levels of hyper focused light is no different than protecting your eyes from staring at or near direct sunlight. Same principle for protecting delicate camera lenses and their culminators from getting fried without using appropriate wavelength UV filters if shooting a waxing moon, or even more radioactive output than a try pig sunny day is to look director at a full moon. Say through a camera or binoculars. Do not ever attempt. Your eyes would let you know instantly. These are very nice pro level goggles and well worth the price. Highly recommend! You can’t skimp on your vision!😎

Very dark
Of course they are dark, but too dark for my purpose.

Great for my fiber laser
These are supposed to work really well for fiber lasers and I can attest that my retina have not fallen out of my eyes yet. Also they’re pretty comfortable

Xtool F1 & M1
My teen daughter and I needed something a little smaller than what xtool offers. These were some of the smallest glasses I could find. They are still slightly big but fit better than any other glasses, with this rating, that we were able to "quickly" find. I verified with xTool that they held the correct rating for both their F1 and M1 machines as we have both.
