Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium 3.0 - 3 PCs / 1 Year

I am a big fan... yet with this version I has ~issues~ with my system. The error BAD_POOL_ERRORS would occur. Now what the heck is that? I do not know. I turned off MWBites and the issue went away. Go figure. Now I run it ad-hoc, as needed. I do not have it start up when windows ( mine is 8.1) boots up. I now use the std. 'Defender' that is part of windows. I have tried all the anti-*.* stuff out there e.g Norton, Webroot, Bitdefender, AVG, bla-bla-bla , so I kinda have an idea what's what. NOW that said , I am running it on two machines, one gives me issues, the other , not a peep!

After my mother clicked on something she shouldn't have and unleashed the bugs, I had her run Malwarebytes (free) on her PC. She couldn't do anything with her computer without a pop-up coming up for something she didn't want or her mouse intermittently becoming unresponsive prior to running that scan and cleaning out the malware files. That free program picked up 645 issues, but I felt like she needed something more so I bought this Premium version. This version works quietly in the background and can be installed on up to 3 PCs with a 1 year subscription. Setting the schedule to automatically update the program is something that is done when the product is installed. I suggest going into Settings, then Automated Scheduling to Edit the automatically set times. For me those were set to times when I've powered down my PC. I would also suggest adjusting for two scans a day (6 hours apart) versus one a day. The scans don't tax the PC's resources so they should run quietly int he background. I like that this program adds an effective layer of protection to my PC. It's user-friendly and works as expected. Along with an antivirus program, it offers great security and peace of mind. Highly recommend it!

Pros - catches almost every problem. Cons - occasionally crashes on attempted installation of updates but tech support is pretty good at solving problems. Do NOT use "Patch My PC" to update - let mwb update itself.

I purchased this product several years ago, so it may not be so very relevant now, but I removed this product after one-year and never renewed it. It was given to false alarms and had a penchant for blocking perfectly normal programs. I'd go to reddit for more recent reviews, but I wasn't happy with it.

Be aware if you purchase the 3 PC license version, as soon as you activate the first license the clock starts ticking on the other two. So unless you have 3 PCs that you want to install, only get the 1 PC license. The Malwarebytes application itself is great. The way they do licensing? Not so much.

So this one was a bit round-about. But I got it to work (I'm using Windows 10). I originally had free version of Malwarebytes installed on computer. Tried installing this CD with free version still on there, but didn't seem to work. So uninstalled the free version, then reinstalled this one, using identifier/key/ that came with it. It updated to latest version automatically, which was cool. However, the Malwarebytes dashboard said I only had less than one hour left of my subscription. It's now the next day and it's still saying that, but I've still got full protection and full use of the program. When I go to the View Details for the License (on the dashboard) it says license Duration is "Unknown". At this point, since I've still got full protection, I'm going to take that to mean I'm covered, especially since it's still providing full protection. So, at the end of the day, I've got full coverage...no complaints. I'll update if anything changes. UPDATE 7/9/16: The "Less than one hour..." warning went away, and now reads "...fully protected". The View Details tab says I've got 365 days left, so all seems to be good there. It has already caught some malware, so it is working.

I was about 6 months into my one year subscription bought here on Amazon (thru Rocket) when my PC crashed and I had to reload all of my programs. I found that my Malwarebytes lic key wouldn't work! When I contacted MWB to find out why, I got the following msg: "Unfortunately, Rocket Computer is not an authorized reseller of our products. There have been many reports of fraudulent keys sold on that site. Malwarebytes legal team has been trying to stop these sales from this site for some time now, most of these licenses are not legitimate licenses. The reason the license will no longer activate is that it is not in our database as a key we created and thus will no longer work. Please contact them for a refund or file a complaint against them with your credit card carrier to get a refund." Well this order is so old that it doesn't even come up as refundable from Amazon. Here I am, out of the money that I paid with no recourse! I did nothing wrong, I just bought a product on Amazon! I can't figure out who I am more MAD AT; this vendor who is obviously doing sketchy stuff or Malwarebytes. I've decided to never use Malwarebytes again-what a P.O.S. company to do this to innocent people! I have also been using Webroot which is a good company and now I will either only use Webroot or I will look for another company to supplement the Webroot AV program.

Arrived on time. I love this software, I used the free version for a very long time but it is worth it for the 24 hour protection with premium. I definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone.
