I bought this after struggling for years with the OEM lens hood for my Canon 24-70mm L USM Gen II lens. This fits much better than the original. Easy click off and click on. No struggling. JJC products seems very well made and a good value. Recommended.

Fits prefect and the color match is spot on for the Canon 70-200 F2.8 version 3. I did attach it to my version 2 and it also Fits well but the color matches the version 3 only. Great replacement if you need one at half the cost if the Canon version.

Previously ordered the wrong lens hood. Returned it and ordered this one. It is good quality and fits my Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM perfectly.

I have yet to use it, but it fits perfectly. I recently got a 70-200 II f2.8 and the hood it came with was for the older model. I will say that I prefer the look of a black hood, especially since the off white color on this is a hair off from the camera body, but that’s really just a cosmetic thing and has zero impact on functionality.

does not fit lens

The color of this hood is *almost* a perfect match to my Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III. It's not exactly the same, but close enough. If you were standing next to me in good light you could probably see the difference, but from a distance you wouldn't be able to tell a difference. The build is solid plastic right down to the base of the hood held in place by 4 metal screws. The hood stores reverse just fine and the release button works great. The tiny button is black by the way and not same color as the hood. At first I wished it was the same color, but now I like that little bit of contrasting black against the off-white. The printed "JJC LH-87" is bright white against the off-white hood, but it is small and barely visible. If you got the black version, it would much more visible. Overall it is a solid, well built hood that fits and works perfectly with my mark III. Other than the color not matching perfectly, for the price $17, it's a keeper if only as a backup hood. If I get tired of this white, I can just swap back to my original black hood. But yeh, this is a keeper.

bought this on a wim after some time passed, since purchasing my beloved 70-200mm 2.8 IS iii. thought that this would be a nice accessorie, especially after seeing that the new RF model came with it's own white lens hood thought this would add a fun twist to my EF model. I hoped the shade of white would match my ver iii of the lens, but it doesn't. however it's not that far off, and when viewed from a distance you can barely tell. build quality is cheap and im fine with that, rather break this lens hood over the OEM. paint is poorly done around the edges, but again for the money I've spent im not to bothered by it.

Thin plastic. Good for what it costs I guess. I'll buy the canon one when this one breaks.

わずかなキズはありましたが、気にならない程度で良好な外観でした。 操作系は一通りチェックして良好でした。 （目視で）綺麗なレンズでした。 他社の70-200mm/f2.8やEF-S55-250mm/f4-5.6と試し撮り比較しましたが、やはり「良い切れ味」でした。 総じて「良いもの」でした。入手後、天候悪く存分に使っていません。これから楽しみです。

I bought a used lens and the guy lost the hood. So, he deducted the cost of a new one from his asking price so I got a good deal. The Canon branded was around $100 and I am glad to see this on Amazon for 1/4 off the Canon.

超カッコいい けど、トップページの色とは 全然違います。 ほとんど2型のグレーホワイトに合う色かも… または、 EF300mm F2.8L IS II USMとかそっちの色ですね。 ニーニの色に近いかも。 三型は少し白いのでそこが変わってます。 ニーニや、サンニッパの、補修塗料買った時の 色とコンパチに見えます。 ただ、黒とは違ってカッコいい。 さらに、塗装に出すよりはるかに安いっす！ これはいいや。 ぜひ作り続けて欲しいです。
