Gorgeous beetle.
Very high end. Not to big. The enamel is perfect- just the right transparency and color. Brooches are back. For the lapels, for the collar and for the hats. I accessorize my many hats. Friends love my hat pins, but this guy would be just as perfect for my collar.

The pin fell apart when I tried to open it
For 9+ dollars, it fell apart immediately. I tried to open the pin to test it and it snapped off.

Sweet, elegant little broach perfect for a touch of interest
I really love these insect broaches. They look great on jackets and sweaters—adds a little interest to an otherwise dressed down outfit. This broach is solid, well crafted with good materials. I get a lot of compliments.

Cute but TINY
Adorable brooch but I guess I should have gotten out a ruler to see how small the measurements actually were. It is absolutely tiny! So bummed because style-wise it is exactly what I was looking for... sadly doesn't look like much unless someone is right up next to you. I have many brooches both vintage and new and none are this small for the price.

I get a lot of compliments on my unique (dung beetle) scarab brooch. Scarabs are a symbol of everlasting life. The Egyptians believed they could come back from the dead because they can completely dry out in the sand, and resurrect when the rains came. That’s why I love dung beetles!!! Long live dung beetles!!! Mine had an extra eye gem glued on by accident but you can barely tell. That’s why 4 stars instead of 5.
