The 5 stars are for those who only go to the 5 star reviews. But you deserve to hear why it is really a NEGATIVE REVIEW. I received this med on Sunday, Sept.15,2024 and took my first dosage that evening with a meal. I have neuropathy and fibromyalgia and am already seeing symptoms changing for the good after two days. I WON'T BUY IT AGAIN THOUGH AND I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN FINISH IT. I woke the morning after taking the first dosage to really bad urine smell. I thought all I needed to do was drink lots of water during the day and that side effect would go away. It did not. Second day, still the same, so I know this is what I get until it's gone or I quit taking it because I can't stand it anymore. If I wasn't seeing any benefits already I would throw it away now, but I do so I will hold out as long as I can. I got online to find odorless Thiamine and would you believe it - I found a list and guess what was on it - you got it, this product was listed providing an Amazon link. IT IS NOT ODORLESS AMAZON.. Amazon is wrong on this one. Hopefully they will follow up and make sure they take this product OFF of any internet ODORLESS THIAMINE list. If you are a man, maybe you don't care if your urine stinks, so take it. If you are a woman and are in a public restroom you may want to put an atomizer of cologne in your purse. The smell is not lingering at all, but for just a minute or half of a minute you may be embarassed should another female be in the next stall. Just saying - keeping it real!

If you have a neurological condition, do a quick search for High dose thiamine for whatever condition you have. I have Parkinson's and have seen a dramatic improvement in many of the non-motor symptoms and a big reduction in tremor. I gave some to my sister to try for her fibromyalgia, and she has made a miraculous recovery in only two weeks with a dramatic reduction in fatigue and pain. We're both taking 4 tablets per day split in two morning doses an hour before meals. This is not a cure, because the symptoms will return when you stop taking it, but it's worth every penny! Don't worry about an overdose, it's a water soluble B vitamin, and whatever your body doesn't use is just excreted harmlessly, although taking too much for your condition may make things worse after a couple days. If this happens, you just have to take a couple days off and start over at a lower dose. The pills are large and a little difficult to swallow, but that's apparently what it takes to pack that much thiamine into one tablet. They are not capsules, so I assume they could be crushed or broken to make them easier to get down.

I purchased this, for the first time, toward the beginning of the year after hearing it helps with fatigue from thyroid disease. For the last few years I've been really suffering and dealing with Hashimoto's, PCOS and Adrenal Fatigue. I've spent countless dollars on products looking for help on fatigue alone (none of which helped much) and I have to say B1 is now one of the supplements I can't be with out. I'm not sure how I never read about taking it before, but wish I has started it a long time ago. It has immensely helped with my fatigue and brain-fog. I wish I could say I don't have any fatigue anymore but the difference has been significant enough that I can't go without it now! Over all I feel I have more clarity, awake and able to focus better. I will say, other than fatigue and brain-fog, I haven't noticed it helping with anything else but still worth the money. I take one-a-day, consistently, and occasionally take 2 when I do things that require more energy. (Check with your doctor on dosage!) Last thing to note- when I started the supplement I made sure not to start anything else new to make sure I knew if it was really helping or not. I can also tell a difference if I skip a day or two.

Value for money

So far this product has been very good. B1 effectiveness has made my wife feel better and help sleep better.

It seemed to be right for me

I use this mainly for my speech impediment but it makes me more alert and awake. I don’t get many bug bites either whilst I’m abroad, apparently this vitamin does this. The brand is super well known so I know they aren’t made from bad ingredients. The smell is of course awful, but you don’t chew these so all is good. They’re kind of big so if you struggle with swallowing tablets then you may have a problem.
