Definitely Surprised
I expected to get what I paid for: A $7 tripod for a small webcam that was probably made from cheap material that wouldn't stand the test of time. I'm actually surprised with the quality of this tripod. It feels sturdy enough that it will last, though it doesn't have tons of weight to it. Great product if you have the Logitech c920 like I do. Fits it like a glove and since it arrived, that webcam has been proudly sitting upon it. I would say that the little flappy grip that tightens the gimbel could be better built. I can see that popping off if you're too rough with it. Still, if it breaks, it's pretty inexpensive to replace. I will state that you shouldn't treat it too roughly because the material, which decent, does feel like it could break under a decent amount of stress. So, don't put heavy cameras on it. I probably wouldn't even try to find a smartphone mount for it. This lightweight Mini Tripod was built with a webcam in mind and that's what it should be used for. Five stars. I can't think of anything wrong with this product.

A Small, Yet Significant Upgrade to My Webcam
I use an Anker PowerConf C200 webcam for work and based on my monitor setup and their height, resting it along the top edge of either screen was not ideal. However, I have some space between the monitors and place the camera there. The problem is the camera itself does not have a solid base and it's highly prone to movement. This tripod solves that problem. It offers stability, protects the base of the camera from scuffs/scratching, is easy to use, and overall is a cheap upgrade. I've very happy with it and just ordered another one for a Logitech webcam that I also use.

Handy little tripod
This is a very small tripod (make sure you check the dimensions), but I'm using them with the Neewer LED lights to do crafting videos. It works well with the light and they're fine for stabilizing a light like that. Definitely not for a DSL or anything with any weight to it, but it's small so it'll go into tight places better. The legs telescope some so you do have some control over height, but because of the size, I don't think you could extend one or two legs and not the other (for uneven surfaces) without balance issues. Still for the price, it's a nice tripod that's very portable.

Tripod Tripods. Like a a pro. Like a Boss! OR more accurately... Like a tripod...
ITs a tripod... what did you expect to read about here? Its legs fold up for transport, and fold out just a wee bit to make it balances to support the weight of the object attached. The screw is a standard 1/4 (quarter) inch, and fits just about every camera I own... though i purchased this specifically for my web cam. it is strong enough to support quite a bit of weight without effort... its quite sturdy, but is very lightweight itself (Aircraft aluminum, likely)(or Elvish Mithril... I hear it is light, too!). The screw has a little rubberized washer that can help tighten down anything like a gopro that may have a shallow screw recess on it... I found that the camera I had has a deep enough screw well that it screwed down all the way with the washer in its lowest position... Overall, it is very nice. It is heavy enough to support my webcam extended out as far as it can go (with the help of the slightest amount of weight provided by the tension of the webcam's cable...) It is a very attractive and versatile product... now I will go find something better to do than write a 225 word essay on the benefits of why this tripod is better or as good as any other tripod on the market....

Not very stable
Works ok. Seems solid enough but the legs don't spread out very far so it's not all that stable on rough or soft surfaces. I bought this to use with a phone mount so I could use my phone hands-free in bed. It didn't really work for that.

A great little tripod for my webcam
I decided to pick up this little tripod to go with the new webcam I just bought. My monitor is on a raised shelf, so my old webcam pointed down toward me at an angle. That often left me looking up at it above my glasses – and some people seemed to think this made me look creepy. Now I can put my tripod-mounted webcam on the shelf where my monitor sits and have it face me pretty much straight on. I was initially a little surprised at just how small this tripod is, but it has worked out perfectly for me. You don’t get any instructions in the box, but it isn’t too hard to figure out. You mount your camera to the screw on top, maneuver it to whatever angle you want, and then use the dumaflache on the side to tighten it up to hold that position. Once you extend the legs of the tripod, there’s no worry about the thing slipping or falling over. It’s definitely portable, as well – heck, I could carry this thing in my front pants pocket without any problem. You need a special clamp if you want to mount your smartphone on this thing, but I can mount my old Flip camera just as easily as I can my webcam. I’m very happy with this little tripod.
