I really like the slim profile, and the contrast of combining metal, leather, and synthetic (silicone) components. I intentionally ordered the rawhide leather version with the multi-tool, with full intentions of not carrying the tool. I did this because I like the look of the rawhide leather better than the more red version (I believe it's called whiskey barrel leather?) without the tool. Plus, I figured it would be nice to have the option to use the tool if I wanted. I only took a cursory glance at the tool when I received it, so I don't have much to say about it, but it appeared to be well made and potentially useful. I have 2 cards on the leather side, 3 on the opposite side between the frame and plate, and a couple bills on the back. Everything fits great, and once it wears in a little bit, it is not too difficult to remove and replace the cards. 3 or 4 cards between the plates is about the maximum before the smaller plate starts to sit outside the main frame. It is designed so I do not believe the plate would slide out in that instance, but just an observation. I wouldn't try to hold more than about 6 cards total (without the multi-tool). I am excited that it is a rigid wallet, since I have had credit cards in the past start cracking after spending an extended amount of time in a more flexible wallet and being bent repeatedly when I sit on my wallet. This will undoubtedly protect and preserve the cards much better. I think it is worth mentioning that when I first received the wallet, I was actually pretty disappointed. The machining of the frame was pretty bad. There were misaligned edges and surfaces, burrs, and gouges all over. I actually had to go over the edges myself with a file to soften them so they wouldn't cut my pants. I took some pictures and sent them to their customer service, and everything went great from there... The owner actually called me himself to talk about what I had received and to apologize. We talked thru the design aspects, and their manufacturing process (I ate all this up because I am in the design and manufacturing world as well). He sent me a new frame, along with some other goodies to sweeten the deal. The second frame was MUCH better. All the edges lined up perfectly, no more sharp edges, and it just was obviously a much better made piece. Now I have no more hesitations in recommending this wallet, because it is exactly as I wanted it to be. The only thing that remains to be seen is how my pants hold up with extended use. I am a back pocket carry guy, and have had hard-edged wallets in the past eventually start wearing holes in my back pocket due to the hard edges of the wallet being in contact with hard surfaces I sit on. These edges are pretty smooth , but we'll see how it all plays out. I can say, though, that it is not uncomfortable at all to sit on. Review: Nice wallet, solid construction, good utility, and just few minor things that could be better - The Good: - Solid construction - Quality look and feel - Ability to use wallet as extension of multitool - Knife that is unlikely to cut you when using wallet but likely to cut when you need it to - Ability to use wallet as a phone stand - Bottle opener without getting out multitool (and even when multitool is left at home) - The lanyard is handy for retrieving wallet from pocket - Dropping the multitool for flights allows for an additional card without adding to thickness Could Improve: - To maintain aesthetics, ease of use, and minimum thickness (which is already thicker than a pure leather alternative) affectively limits you to three cards without raised bevels (cards with bevels exacerbate the issue). Putting more than one card in the leather pocket makes it difficult to retrieve the cards and causes the front to bulge. Putting more than two cards behind the metal plate with the multitool will cause the metal plate to stick out beyond the metal frame exceeding the minimum thickness and detract from it's appearance. I limited my carry to my ID, one CC, and my insurance card which means I don't have a backup card unless I drop the multitool to make room for another card or accept the additional bulge. If you just want to carry three cards (without bevels), it's pretty ideal (the back plate is perfectly flush, and it looks great. I just wish that was true for four cards + the multitool not 3. I did manage to slip an emergency 20 out of site between the front and back, but more than one bill, and you'll start to get that bulge. - Sliding the multitool out and locking in place takes some practice and usually drags the cards next to it with it - One of the handier features in day to day life is the phone stand, yet it's on the bottom which requires you to take the tool out and flip it around to use it which is slow and takes a bit of practice not to get frustrated. It would be better to be on the top with the knife, the 2nd most useful feature in day 2 day life. Neutral: - Heavier than a pure leather alternative, yet not noticeably heavy either. If you are used to carrying your smart phone in one pocket, you won't really notice this in the other.

Let's see what the hype is all about...Whoaa cooool!
I was at a gun shop buying some accessories when I saw a customer pull out this sweet-looking wallet. I asked him "what the heck is that! That's cool!" He told me " Google Dango Products...they make some sweet EDC stuff like this wallet!" So I had to find out first-hand! First-time Dango customer here. Let me tell you, Dango just got another long-time customer cuz they got this tactical wallet right! I'm an EDC Everyday Carry enthusiast. I love anything tools, outdoor, gear, tactical/tacticool, prepper, camping. I purchased the T01 Spec-Ops w/ tan Cerakote cuz a lot of my knives and firearms have the same coatings...match made in heaven. I guess this wallet is made from CNC machined alloy and then Cerakote'd. What I can tell is the machining is top knotch. The coating is smooth and just flawless. I don't know what D-Tex is but it's pretty dope material, like some canvasy hi-tech rugged fabric. We'll see how it holds up but it looks like it's gonna do well! The wallet holds all the cards I have with ease and securely. Getting them out seems pretty fluid too. Did I mention this comes with a multi-tool called the MT-02? Oh man! This is so cool. There is some real garbage stamped multi-card-tools made from Pakistan and China that look horrible and function even worse. Not the Dango MT-02! This looks legit...seems like it has everything you'd need without having too many unnecessary tools. The finish is satin bead-blasted and looks awesome. I can't wait to test it on my campout next month especially the cool paracord tensioner. These guys went all out, even the graphics and packaging is cool! It comes in a tin can kinda like an Altoid tin which everyone knows makes a great EDC kit for numerous items. Packaging is clear to read and very informative. Now the only problem I have is...what the heck Dango Product will be next on my list TO BUY!!!! Great job Dango!

Sturdy and Slim - Awesome wallet... if you don't have many cards
Pro's: Looks good, definitely a sturdy, slim alternative to the bifold "dad wallet." Multitool looks cool but I haven't used it. Holds 6 cards for me and could hold more, plus the multitool and cash. Cons: the more cards you add in, the tighter it gets and the harder to retrieve a particular card and put it back. Most of the time, I end up pulling all the cards out, selecting the one I want, and then putting them all back, which can be a pain. That may improve over time as it stretches out a bit - I've only had it a week. The multitool takes up space, too, and so far, I'm less convinced that it's worth the tradeoff in card space. Overall, I'm really happy with it. It's a big improvement over the over-thick bifold wallet I had and I'm pretty happy with it.

Finally found the perfect edc wallet
I previously tried the ridge, fantom x, dango A10 bifold pen wallets, this ended up being the perfect wallet. It's right on the line of almost bulky, but manages to still be just minimal enough, considering everything it carries (pen, notebook, cash, credit cards, Id cards, car registrations, business cards) Dango makes a separate pen holder attached to a dummy card, but you can still clip a pen to the bifold without that accessory. Both this model and the a10 should have had a notebook band to wrap the whole wallet (not talking about the internal band). You can get small notebook bands on Amazon. Unlike the a10, this model will let you add/swap and secure bands using the recesses on the sides. (Drove me crazy that the a10 didn't allow this!) I found I like these other bands (tension and colors) for the inside better than the stock one on Amazon (they look, feel, fit and weigh better) : "24 Pcs 4 Inch Assorted Colors Silicone Rubber Bands Silicone Elastic Bands Long Lasting Wrapping Bands for Books, Art, Bag Wraps, Exercise, Crab Traps, Bottle, Wallet"

!00% Satisfaction
I've always been one of those guys that would need to take there wallet out of my pocket when I was driving. I realized that 70% of the items in there were just wasted space. I worked with a guy who had this minimalist wallet and knew that I needed to get one. Not sure if its the same one that he had but I'm sooo glad that I got this one. It's extremely high quality and holds every thing that is necessary. I have my ID. two credit cards , my debit card and when I need to carry cash ( not that often) there is a band around the wallet to hold bills. The multi tool can be removed to make more space if needed, but could be useful in a pinch . I was out shooting and my scope mount loosed up. The multi tool was the only thing that I had ( or was the closest available tool to me). I was able to tighten the scope with the tool , but keep in mind that it is aluminum and it did bend when I cranked down on the scope mounts. It was an improper use of the tool, but it did the job. I thought that I would contact the company and see if they would replace the tool or if I could buy a new one. A few days after I forgot about it all put it behind me, but, then they called me. I got a follow up call asking about what I thought about there product. I told him that I love it and that I bent the tool trying to tighten my scope out in the field. they r sending a new one in the mail!! I'm going to gift this to my closest friend and recommend it to any one that will listen .

Great Wallet.
This wallet grows on me every day I have it. I'm used to a biker's style leather wallet with a chain that I've carried for 30+ years. This was a rough transition but I've had it for a few days and I'm already positive I'm not going back. Everything I had in the other wallet fits in this one after I removed the multi-tool. The multi-tool cannot be used outside of the wallet. It's not built to be self-supportive. The knife part did not come sharpened however a few minutes with a wet-stone and it was a razor. Everything else on the multi-tool worked. Since I work on an airport, I can't have the blade so I removed it and saved it in the nice metal box the wallet comes in. All my credentials have their own pockets with my credit cards nestled inside the aluminum casing. Loaded, the wallet is barely 3/4" thick and a hair under a pound. My leather wallet was well over 1" thick and with the chain and belt loop was almost 3 pounds. Weight wise, it's barely noticable and small enough for a front pocket carry. Overall, I'm glad I went with the T01 over one of the less expensive wallets. I think the smaller, less expensive wallets wouldn't have been enough for my stuff and I would have been disappointed. We'll see how long it lasts. MADE IN THE USA.

Cool product, but WAAAY too expensive
I got this 1/2 out of want, 1/2 out of nostalgia. I've tried going minimalist before and never worked out. Clips never too big, some were actually magnetic if you can believe that, etc. I settled on a bi-fold leather wallet and by chance ran across ads for another minimalist wallet. I started doing my research and found this one. I really like the design. Actually I love the design. Yes it's corny that vendors need to call anything with a modicum of outdoorsy functionality "tactical" and paint it black, but it looks good. I really wanted the multi-tool. Kind of wish it was more functional, maybe mini scissors, but I think I'll get my money's worth over the standard Dango with the kinda-sharp edge you can use to open bags and the can opener. Wallet is solid and feels great and ergonomic in your hand. I think this is a much better option than the super minimal wallets out there that are just big enough for a credit card. That's way too small unless all you walk around with is 3-4 credit cards. No elastic on this unit. Just the silicone strap which feels solid and I hope will last a long time. It also made me seriously rethink all the crap I carry around in my wallet. Combined with my Garmin watch that I can use for over-the-air payments, I reduced my everyday cards to: * driver's license * 1 credit card * 1 debit card * AAA card * 3 health insurance cards (some paper) That all fits well enough in the wallet and probably reduced what I carry about 2/3rds: * Don't need my health savings account card; its on my wallet. I'll bring it when necessary and drug stores do over-the-air pay * Only carry gift cards on demand * no plastic carrier for the hunting license * Put my discount cards on my keyring * Use the insurance phone app for my insurance cards Sounds counter-intuitive, but I also use a money clip. This is because I rarely use/need cash so I'd rather carry it separately when necessary not every day. You can fit money under the strap though, but that feels like a hassle. Now, what didn't I like: * COST. This is WAY too expensive for what you're getting. I think a reasonable price point is 1/3 this price. I got it as a novelty and no way the average person is shelling this much out to streamline their pocket bulk. If this was that much cheaper, I'd probably gift out several of these. * Back plate pocket too small. As stated I probably only have the multi-tool and about 3-4 cards worth of bulk on the back plate side of the wallet. Yes, you CAN fit more cards in that area, but once you get over about 2-3 + tool, the back plate is raised so much that it's "floating and no longer secured by the frame of the wallet. Just the strap which is more than secure enough, but it feels flaky, especially at this price point. * Inner front pocket too stiff. On the leather side, the inner pocket is hare to access. All I have in there is my thin driver's license and it's hard to fish out. Maybe one of the non-leather materials is slicker and thinner; don't know. * Already mentioned the multi-tool could use a little more functionality. One or two more useful tools, don't ask me what. But the Dango version is a little weak. However, I'm still good with having something with this form factor to carry around. There's just nothing to justify the price on it. Cool wallet, nifty conversation piece, but too expensive and not for a person who's too set in their ways to part with their trusty tri- or bi-fold.
