Works great and good quality

Perfect replacement for my defective check valve. Very quiet, unlike the one I replaced which was more noisy. The build quality is much better than my old one, which had two parts joined in the middle, with a rubber gasket, and four nuts and bolts. This check valve is sealed, which means no leaking in the joint like my old one did.

It seems to be working, but it's not a true 2" valve, the rubber connector necks it down to about 1 3/4", so it wasn't easy to install, had to roll the connectors back on the pipe to get the valve in place, where all I had to do on the old one was slide the true 2" connectors back to install/remove. If I wanted an 1 3/4" valve that's what I would have ordered.

Easy install with the clamps it comes with, so that definitely saves you time and money instead of using couplings and glue... with that being said, it’s not as “quiet” as I had hoped compared to some of the others offered as a “quiet check valve”. So that’s why I took one star off. Other than that, its a pretty decent product, given the cost.

Thank goodness!! We couldn’t locate this size anywhere locally. Actually thinking of purchasing another one just to have it on hand. Having a sewage sump pump is not fun. This is a very valuable part.
