Billie Eilish’s meteoric rise to global stardom has been nothing short of phenomenal and arguably unparalleled to date. Since her ‘ocean eyes’ debut, Billie has quietly, yet unapologetically infiltrated the forefront of pop. Thanks to a growing legion of loyal followers across the globe, an EP that has sat in the Billboard Top 200 for more than 18 months now. “When we made ‘bury a friend,’ the whole album clicked in my head,” Billie explains. “Iimmediately knew what it was going to be about, what the visuals were going to be, and everything in terms of how I wanted it to be perceived. It inspired what the album is about. ‘bury a friend’ is literally from the perspective of the monster under my bed. If you put yourself in that mindset, what is this creature doing or feeling?” She continues. “I also confess that I’m this monster, because I’m my own worst enemy. I might be the monster under your bed too.” When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go was written, produced and recorded entirely by 17-year-old Billie Eilish and brother Finneas in their childhood home of Highland Park, Los Angeles. Recorded in Finneas’ bedroom opposite Billie’s, the pair spent most of 2018 writing songs on the road, then spending many days and nights when off the road, at home, recording the album. The first to be revealed since the album announcement is “bury a friend,” a driving tour-de-force of a song, trailblazing its way into the world and sounding quite unlike anything else that’s out right now. Reaffirming Billie Eilish’s place, always ahead of the curve, never compromising her sound or vision. Review: Great item - Great item very happy delivered in timely manner. Pop Reinvented With A Sickening Tinge
Its rare to see an artist merge such haunting lyrics with bombastic beats. Pop music has become so derivative that is rare to hear electronically created music paired with anything other than bloated echoes of love, drugs, breakups and booze. Billie Eillish (and her criminally underrated brother Finneas) do something different with their debut album. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go explores the deep psychosis of a young girl reared and raised in a world of technology and social media and the effects this has on her mental health. Eillish has been criticised, in no small part for her fanbase which listen to Bad Guy and label themselves depressed. Her low drones have also been described as mumble rap but Eillish showcases her ranges on tracks such as I Love You, 8, All The Good Girls Go To Hell and Xanny. Goodbye serves as an intricately edited closer and while Bad Guy has been smacked over the head of everyone with a radio, it is still an infectiously catchy pop bop. The vinyl itself is bizarre though, specifically its colour. It looks a little bit like vomit. Its not a burning orange or a pale yellow, its a mix of the two and it does look like sick. Having said that, it's a color i have yet to see any other album use so for vinyl collectors this serves as an excellent boost for variety. For thosd not sold on tje novelty on coloured vinyls, this won't impress, get the standard black LP.

Perfect quality
This vinyl is very good quality, no scratches or issues. The colour is very billie, love it. Only thing is, the last song on each side ends abruptly before the song ends. It happens on my other billie vinyls, so must be to do with the design.

Fantastic sound on Vinyl.
Bought this for my wife, now I really like it. No doubt I'll end up buying her all vinyl releases for the missus. There are parts with very deep bass, and as someone said suitcase record players won't cope. But that aside it's a great album.

Lacking AutoRip Feature
This is such a great album but unfortunately, it lacks the AutoRip feature. The AutoRip feature is available on the Deluxe version of the album but given it's almost double the price for just three extra tracks, it is not a viable option. I have deducted one star for this reason. NOTE: If you decide to purchase the Deluxe version, please be aware that it contains no plastic CD tray like the original version. The plastic CD tray has been removed from the Deluxe version (and a sleeve used instead) to make room for the extra printed lyrics. The Deluxe version may have the three extra tracks, but the packaging looks and feels cheap compared to the original.
