Food/Meat Instant Read Thermometer, Pocket Size, Dishwasher Safe, Red, For Meat/Food Cooking and Grilling/Oven

Hard to find these old school thermometers. Everything now is digital and I did not want a digital thermometer. Very please, seems to read the temperature accurately when I bake chicken

I recently tried out the Rubbermaid Commercial Products Food/Meat Instant Read Thermometer, and here’s my take on it: Accuracy and Speed: The thermometer provides reasonably accurate readings, but it’s not the fastest. It takes a bit longer to register the temperature compared to some digital thermometers. However, it’s still reliable for everyday cooking. I appreciate that I don’t need to wait for it to stabilize like some other thermometers. Overall Impression: If you’re looking for a straightforward, no-frills thermometer that’s easy to clean and gets the job done, the Rubbermaid Instant Read Thermometer is a solid choice.

Bought this to check my fish tank water temperature. Very accurate. Happy with the easy of use. Would buy again.

I had bought this thermometer, my last order indicated in April of 2012. I am now buying this again because it finally "broke" when it started reading the wrong temperature. Probably my fault the poor thing has been dropped so many times, I really honestly don't know how it lasted this long. So basically it's a nokia brick. It's been dropped, dishwashed so many times, stepped on, lost, found, buried. And it kept going. I hadn't the heart to throw it away but when it read my hot water as being only 120F when I knew it was at least 200F I knew it was time to say goodbye. Pros: Could probably survive a nuclear explosion Accurate and super quick temp Saw me through many a meals All around good thermometer, no frills, no batteries--just a regular ol' thermometer--that may outlive you Cons: The one that I had originally had an easy cheat sheet on its cap, this one doesn't. That's just a gripe, hopefully this one will live up to it's predecessor. Overall: Will buy again when needed.

Work well

Plastic starts to bubble after a few uses and then you can’t see the temperature anymore. Weird that they would use plastic instead of tempered glass or something

It works as intended.

It can be adjusted which I did. All metal so no glass to break. The top is quite small and could be difficult to read.

Bought this to take temperature of the ground, for mushroom hunting, and garden planting works great.

Simple and good

Perfect size for and easy to read I can not say anything about accuracy because I have nothing to compare it to but I’m sure it works well
