VTech InnoTab Software, Dora The Explorer

Vtech is really making Innotab games better all the time! There are lots of different games and coloring, as well as the standard pictures and ebook, included in this cartridge. There are two different difficulty levels for each game, and after completing it the first time, it is 'unlocked' to be able to play in free time. The different levels are nice for people with multiple children, it isn't restricted to one age group. There are also little health tips that pop up after games occasionally, such as drinking enough water and getting enough exercise. Game 1. is 'Ballet Dance' party, which uses memory to follow dance moves. 2. 'Letter Bubbles' focuses on spelling by popping bubbles with letters in them in order. 3. 'Hide and seek' is for visual skills, simply finding the toys hiding around the room and paying attention to which direction they run. 4. 'Marble Rolling' is lots of fun with sorting colors and answering some simple addition like 5 + 3 = ?. 5. 'Stack those blocks' is matching with color and pattern. 6. 'Odd one out' is logic, picking which picture is different. 7. 'Matching Pairs' is simply memory. 8. 'Follow That Card' is observation, basically the nutshell game. 9. 'Check-Up Games' is problem solving and health and the child gets to learn what doctors instruments are used for. The child also builds an inventory of coloring pages, and the story is cute too, 'The Rip Heard 'Round the World'. I would definitely get this again for my kids, the animation is good and very engaging, and the price on Amazon is better than what I have found out in town!

My 3 year old son loves this game. I wasn't sure what to expect since there is very little info on it. There is 1 interactive book (3 little pigs), 2 "creative" games (create an adventure and flower garden), and 3 games (what's the difference, snack time, and twins' day party). The amount of choices on this cartridge is great. It is actually hard to get off the innotab because of this game, although he has been learning a lot, including spanish. So far this is the only extra we have given him but considering the amount on it we will definitely be purchasing more. Also great for a boy or girl. There are also 2 levels of difficulty, he has been using the easy/1 star, so I am sure he will continue to grow into this game.

Fantastic! My son loves playing this game. Even over Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (which I didn't think was possible seeing as Mickey Mouse is his WORLD) He really enjoys the interactive games where you have to blow into the microphone to fill the ships sails and the games where you have to say things like "Yo HO HO!" for events to happen. Much better than some other games that are essentially glorified flash games. Only problem I can find is it is NOT compatible with the Innotab MAX. So if you are thinking of upgrading to one (we where) or already have one, keep looking.

I'd expect games with Disney characters would be of higher quality and more educational than competitors. This one is both. Of all the InnoTab games I've purchased so far, this has to be the one I'm most happy with. It has fun games but you can tell that the focus is on education rather than game play. The game play isn't as good as some other games but it is good enough to entertain and educate your kids.

This is a really cute game my 3 year old loves. So far, she pretty much just likes one part of the game, but she REALLY loves that part of the game. It didn't take very long for her to catch on to how the game is played. I played it with her at first to teach her what to do. It doesn't keep her attention for more than 10-15 minutes, but really, do you want a 3 year old to play video games for more than that anyway? When she learns the other attributes of the game as she gets older, I'm sure it will keep her engaged for longer, but for now, I think it is the perfect amount. Also, my husband was playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag, which has pirates, and she loved watching the part when they sail and sing pirate songs, so it was a lot of fun for her to have her own "pirate game" so she could be like daddy. However, it is quite pricey, but then I find that to be the case with most innotab games. I find that the games for my iPad are generally better, far cheaper, and keep her attention for longer. This is all in addition to the fact that you have to change out the cartridges for each game, as they don't load onto the innotab permanently, and I have a hard time keeping track of things I use every day, let alone my daughters video games. These problems, however, are more review on the innotab itself, and less about this game in particular. If you have an innotab, and you are looking for a good game for it, this one has great reviews from my 3 year old.

Great game. I have a 4 year old who loves his Innotab 2 (perfect for car rides and trips to the grocery store and doctor office) and we watch Doc McStuffins on Disney Junior so I bought this game as a stocking stuffer at Christmas. It's alot of fun for him and he's able to play independently without needing my help to read or figure out any parts of it. Cars is his favorite innotab game but this is a close 2nd. Great purchase.

We bought this for my son's 3rd birthday to go along with his new Innotab. I figured I would wait until he got bored with this game before I bought any others, and now--over a year later--I'm still waiting. It probably isn't that the game itself has so many variable options to keep him entertained as that at this age he is still loves repetition. The other nice thing about only having one game is that the cartridge never has to get removed, so it will not get lost or damaged and I don't need to figure out a storage solution for it. The navigation is intuitive for him, he knows exactly how to start it up and to get to whatever he wants. He likes the games; he doesn't seem to go for the story reading portion.

Came on time, works with innotab max, kids happy. Yay

My daughter is just getting into doc mcstuffins. She got the doctors set for Christmas and I thought this would make a good addition to her innotab. Keeps her entertained and there is more there for when she gets a bit older. She is 3 1/2.

the game arrived with other items and the box was completely destroyed. thankfully the game is ok but i cannot give it as a present anymore as it looks like it was used and the box salvaged from the garbage.
