This is lovely! Soft to the touch, with a very subtle texture, and more “body” (less floppy) than crochet cotton. I bought it in white which is a clean bright white. It does need to be rewound; it will tangle quickly and horribly if you try to work directly from the skein. The hank looked small until I spent 2 hours doing that. It’s a lot of thread. For other crafters - Since it’s almost impossible to find clear thickness comparison information for linen thread, (it’s all plies, and numbers that don’t relate between types and brands! Even ‘lace weight’/‘sock weight’, etc. can be a huge range of thicknesses.) it’s so hard to know what will work with any existing crochet, lace, or other fibercraft pattern. Comparing this to cotton crochet thread I’m used to, it’s approximately the thickness of Aunt Lydia's crochet cotton size 10, with DMC perle cotton, a bit thicker than their size 8 and a little thinner than 5, and equivalent to 4 strands of standard 6 strand embroidery floss.

We used two strands of the yarn to make a scarf and it came out beautiful.

Beautiful color. Pure unscented. (unlike some of those “organic” products that smell like incense) great linen feel. Strong, tried to break it and couldn’t. Update: color #6 is not blue at all. It is Gray! And the other one that looks like a sage green is more of a grey with just a bit of sage.

I purchased the neutral and green colors of this product. It took a little over a month to arrive and was much much smaller (thinner) than I expected. I would say its just one step up from thread. Nice linen feel and wonderful colors, just not sure what I am going to make with it since it is so thin. Maybe a nice lacey scarf or shawl??

I've been curious about linen yarn, so I got this skein to try it out. After hand winding and experimenting a bit, it is already feeling softer. It feels quite strong and has done fine with me ripping out stitches and restarting as I tried out different lace patterns.

This is a nice yarn. It might be nice to crochet a doily with this? I'm trying to knit a summer cardigan. I thought this would be like a beige but it has a pinkish look. I would like to have access to some patterns that would work with this particular lace weight yarn. This pattern I'm using calls for a US4 knitting needle.

This linen yarn is fine and smooth and scent free. It has exactly the right "hand" that I was hoping for. I will be ordering more in other colours for making medieval card weaving and needlework.

It's extremely thin. I would say it's about a thin crochet cotton weight. It's beautiful. I am going to use it for embroidery work. Thank you. It's very pretty.
