These books (I got all 3 by the artist) are AMAZING. The art work is so unique, detailed, spiritually and artistically engaging. I was completely amazed at the quality for the price. The cover art, cover quality, even the cover pages are just so high quality! It’s insane to me that people are complaining about the cards. First of all these are a bonus, not meant to be the main focus. They’re amazing in terms of print and they’re on pretty good card stock, yes they have some perforations you have to separate them but you’re not paying $30 for an oracle deck here you’re just getting a usable deck as a bonus to an amazing book. I am beyond satisfied and I’ve shown this book to many others and they were in awe of the quality and art and concept. I will buy anything else this artist does. Just incredible. I have many Oracle decks and these cards are fine enough quality and you should get this book and the others, you really won’t regret it! Really brought me so much joy.

This book is a pleasure field for the eyes. It comes with its own deck of cards Fun and so lovely.

If you are even the slightest bit witchy, you need this on your bookshelf. The experience begins by a meaningful reading of the page you randomly open the book to—this matters. Then explore the oracle cards included, providing a way to not only learn about these beautifully-illustrated beasts, but delve deeply into the animal world for inspiration and insight into your own. I own Herbiary and cannot wait for the final book in Maia Toll’s triology of wisdom presented in workshop style with activities for deeper study accompanying each plant and animal. Gorgeous illustrations and high quality cards at an incredibly economical price may create an enticing first encounter with the oracle in connection with the more esoteric meanings of our physical realm. But even if you have every other deck and book in existence, you’ll gain insight by adding this set to your collection.

The Beauty in this book goes beyond the illustrations into the depth and even humor in the text content . Such wisdom and insight and beauty comes along rarely . Truly this book is a gift , even a mentor giving excellent advice/ suggestions on handling situations every one encounters throughout life . They say that asking the right questions is important and there are questions to ask your self posed in this treasure of a book . I love illustrated books and this one will be one of my favorite and one to gift to others as well . Thank you , I am super Grateful !!

Open this book and not only will your senses be delighted with Kate O'Hara's stunning and creative illustrations, but you'll feel like you're walking through the animal kingdom with brand new glasses on. Maia Toll brings a unique sense of depth to animals we think we know well, and others we might overlook. This book can be read bit by bit or in one sitting... but it's one I'll return to over and over again as it offers such perspective on this world we live in and share with so many amazing creatures. Thank you for yet another masterpiece, Maia, Kate, and Storey Publishing! I can hardly wait for the third book in this Wild Wisdom series, The Illustrated Crystallary!

This book is beautiful. Seriously, the cover, the artwork inside, the cards, it is really gorgeous. I am definitely going to preorder her next book. The stories are beautiful and fun. Only thing you should keep in mind is that the cards that are included are in an envelope in the back of the book in perforated sheets. So, when you take them apart you get that little nub from the perforation. The cardstock is also very thin and bends super easy. Now, that said, the artwork is so beautiful I simply don't care. I will trim the nubs and laminate them and it will be a non issue. I still recommend purchasing I own both of her books and will be buying the 3rd book as well.

It really shouldn’t come as a surprise that I love this book since my adoration and respect for animals and their wisdom runs deep. From the moment I heard of this book when a friend sent me the video, I watched with enthusiasm, to then receiving it, and holding it in my hands as I marveled at the stunning and gorgeous cover. The magic continued as I opened the book and felt like the animals were right there in front of me inviting me to come walk with them through the pages. Each turn of a page had me swirling in reverence and a sense of belonging as I took into my being yet again how fortunate we are that animals share this planet with us, and who so graciously serve as messengers to help us heal. I really appreciate the ritual and reflection sections of the book. To work with the wisdom of animals as a way to ‘see’ our inner selves has time and again been a way in which I’ve been able to transform my life in some pretty powerful ways. The compact oracle cards included at the back of the book were a delight to pull from the envelope and separate into a deck. They now sit on my altar and it’s a joy to work with them often.

These are great oracle cards. More interactive than other decks I have which is great for creatives who feel stuck or to get out of your wonky head space. The cards are a bit small (like playing cards but a bit smaller) which I didn't like at first but I'm used to them now. The illustrations are lovely and the interpretation of each animal in the book is clever. They are fun to use to start your day with intent. Highly recommend.

Yo soy fan de los libros de Maia Toll, y este no es la excepción. Al contrario, ahora es de mis favoritos de ella. Las ilustraciones son de otro mundo. Me fascinan. El libro es precioso y sirve mucho de apoyo para cualquier situación que estés viviendo. Sólo debes prestar oído a los animales que quieren decirte algo. Precioso y perfecto. Gracias🙏🏼✨

With global warming and the huge ammount of plastic destorying the oceans and animals habitat due to deforestation, we need to take an action or protect them and use reuseable items, use less plastic and use eco friendly items plus alot more stuff we can do as humans to protect the only earth we have. ° An amazing insite to the animal kingdom, energies, Such wisdom and excellent advice on handling some situations that may arise. I love illustrated books plus of course such a stunning breathtaking book to have along with the Herbary book that I recommend everyone to get also!

The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, and the writing is full of positivity and emotion. I really enjoy looking through this book though I haven't touched the cards yet, and also really love the various rituals and reflections each animal offers. I already tried a few and just feel a lot more relaxed and in tune again lately, which is an amazing change to how it was before. Can definitely recommend!
