Review: One of the best hexa wargames there is - Few counters, not too complicated rules, and a clever representation of how things turn around on the Eastern Front in WW2. You can jump into the action in 1941, 42, 43, 44 or even 45 ... or just do an entire campaign in a sort of sandbox mode ... this is a game you can play multiple times and try different strategies and it is markedly different to play as the German or the Russian side (so much so that even the CRT tables are different). There are some cards and historical events but you can change the course of action significantly, many things are modeled well such as stretching supply lines, encirclements, mobile warfare or even deep battle they all come out organically from the few rules that govern the game. If you have a friend to play it with multiple times this is a good intro into hex based wargaming.
