(And the Gold is the the best bargain of all fine teas in my mind.) Both leaves are in sachets not bags with strings. Sachets are said to allow water to flow more effectively. No string is no loss, you will have a spoon anyway for a little milk and sugar. I use water just off the boil, in the cup for four and one half minuets. Note: Out of the box two sachets are attached at one edge. Don't do what I did with my first box of sachets and make double strength cups; pull them apart and only use one. I wish there was a way to give a lesser star to both desertcart and Yorkshire/Harrogate for not spelling out that these are string-less sachets. Not a word anywhere, not even on the package. This tea is so very good
I have a caffeine issue and haven't had black tea in a long time. I finally got around to trying decaf instead of herbals and am so glad I did. This tea has perfect flavor and also reminds me of my mother which is so very sweet. I have had sips of the Jelly and Toast and Biscuit flavor (both not decaf) and would totally get those as well if they came in decaf. Also, they have excellent customer service. It's a win win for this company.

Good black tea
Tea that is strong enough. I always use 2 teabags as one not strong enough. But this tea is an exception. It’s delicious, smooth and strong enough for milk. Highly recommend

I love this tea - both caffeinated & decaf. I drink decaf in the afternoon. Dark, strong authentic British tea. It’s delicious!
