Good tool, good value!
I was hesitant but am pleased with the product. I purchased it to cut some quarter round for a small bathroom project. The trim was not solid wood, more of a composite material with a finish similar to the laminate flooring I used. The tool cut through the trim with very little effort. The angled cuts were perfect, once I figured out how to hold the trim so that it didn’t slip.

Perfect cutter! I love it
Very good cutters! It saves me a lot of time. Makes great angles when I’m working with quarter rounds and cuts PVC good! The cutters were a bit greasy to protect them from rust so that was a bonus! Im defiantly recommending this to my friends.

Quick but not super straight cuts making small gaps
Quick and relatively easy to use. Much faster and cheaper than miter saw for finishing 1/4 round. Not the most accurate cuts. The cut tends to not cut straight down. The angle is good but the bottom of the cut is wider than the top. Maybe user error but I don’t think so. This causes the joints to have noticeable gaps. It can be covered with caulk and paint buts it’s less than ideal. Certainly not easy to get a tight fitting corner. I would buy again because it’s so much faster but some of the time savings is lost in having to recur due to the less than perfect cuts. Maybe I’ll get better at this but I don’t think it’s all me.

Piece of Junk (updated)
I bought this Miter Shears to cut quarter round. It is difficult to hold the molding in place while squeezing the handles - very hard to squeeze. After just 5 or 6 cuts the shears jammed and will not close. The shears came with no instructions or trouble-shooting info. They are now worthless. Update: 12/20/19 - the seller emailed me and offered to send a new pair of shears. They also wanted a photo of the defective shears. Unfortunately, I had already tossed the jammed shears away and bought another pair at Home Depot. I appreciate that the seller wanted to make the situation right (although a refund would have been preferable).

Does a so-so job
It cuts quarter round fairly well, but not as professionally as a miter saw. Makes cuts by downward pressure on the wood, which makes a small indentation on the top of the wood. Prefer the smooth, sharp cut of a saw. Also needs strong hand strength to work well.

Excellent
they are very light and has a rubber handle which makes you hold it good and isnt slippery . it cuts as well as a miler saw has different types of angles 45 to 135. i would recommed it to anybody who wants to go molding or coron round

Cut time before lunch time.
For the price I would buy these again. They saved me time and mess from bringing my power saw. The pine wood was tough to cut, but a little man strength makes up for it. I feel like I’m getting a workout for using these lol.
