Fast Orange 25618 Xtreme Hand Cleaner, 1 Gallon, 128 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

This does the trick. I paint with acrylics and at the end of the day it's been hard to get the dried paint off of my hands even with warm water, straight dish detergent and a fingernail brush on my skin. Then my hands are dried out. FAST ORANGE 25616 XTREME: Since I don't really care about whether the product contains a petroleum solvent or not (this does), I bought the Xtreme version of Fast Orange to get the job. I tried it on my left hand. It made getting a lot of dried-on acrylic faster and easier than with straight Dawn dish liquid and a fingernail brush or a scrubby sponge and my hands weren't nearly as dried out. This will be my go-to product. FAST ORANGE 25122 PUMICE LOTION, Heavy Duty Hand Cleaner: I tried this one on my right hand. It was just as covered in dry acrylic. Even without the petroleum solvent, the pumice did a decent job of removing the paint. It took only a very little more work, and still did a really decent job. Both get five stars for doing what I wanted them to do. And even though the Xtreme was faster, the other gets five stars too (Erring on the good side of 4-1/2 because it does what it says).

I haven’t used its competitor so I can’t compare. However I love this stuff and it works great and I like it as face wash too. I’m more of a casual user and not getting covered in grease/lube/etc. but I definitely recommend it.

This worked really well to clean up hard water spots on my bathroom faucet. I thought I was going to have to replace the faucet until a plumber recommended this to me.

Cleans beautifully after wrenching with the greasiest, oiliest hands. Best product at the best price on the market. A pump or two and rub thoroughly before rinsing with water leaves hands clean with (almost) no gas and oil smell. Great stuff.

Great product works really well for greasy hands

This stuff is pretty good, but I think the plain version is probably going to be better for most people most of the time. It seems that the “Xtreme” refers to the inclusion of a little bit (maybe 5%) of “petroleum distillates” which is probably mineral spirits, kerosene, or something with a similar carbon chain length. This makes it more suitable for dissolving tar/asphalt type stuff or gasket sealer. But most people most of the time aren’t getting anything that nasty on their hands, so this is overkill for most situations. The only time I got anything on my hands that I think this did a better job of removing is when the kids made a mess of one of those jar candles and I got some of that soft sticky type candle wax on my hands. It did seem to do a better job on that, but the other 95% of cases where I need this kind of cleaner it just dries out my hands a little more than the normal stuff. Basically I’d recommend only buying a small amount of this and a large amount of the normal stuff unless you’re a professional engine gasket seal installer or out paving the road with asphalt. Even with the normal formula I’d say wash your hands with normal soap afterward and use hand lotion, but with this it’s even more important to use some lotion. I mean they try to do what they can to make it easy on your hands, but the fact is that you can’t make oil-remover without making oil remover. It’s going to remove some skin oil too.

I've used the normal Fast Orange for a while, but the Xtreme definitely works better. It's astounding the amount of grease and oil this can absorb in one wash, especially if you lather it on before wetting your hands. In addition, I have a pretty bad allergy to poison oak and ivy, and I use this to strip off the urushiol oils from my skin whenever I get unlucky. It works way better than Tecnu in my experience. Even though it doesn't always get all of the urushiol off, it gets a majority of it, and honestly has changed my life since I'm in the woods a lot. Even after a rash has formed, it can reduce the severity after one or two good scrubbings. Not to mention the moisturizer leaves my skin feeling pretty smooth afterwards. I highly recommend this to anyone who works a lot with their hands or has a poison oak/ivy allergy

This stuff works great for removing uncured resin from my hands. I know I should wear gloves, but honestly I forget every time. This stuff is amazing! It smells great and does the job! Just remember to put it into DRY HANDS, rub it all over the areas that need it, THEN rinse with water. Leaves my hands feeling nice instead of dried out

Use this for general cleaning of hands when working in the yard or tinkering with the car and bike. Nice gritty feel to the compound giving you a good clean. Reminds me of my apprenticeship back in the day when I used this all the time in the workshop!
