The controller for my Weber Q140 electric grill was damaged and the thermostat was not registering correctly. Instead of having to buy a new grill, this replacement fit and works perfectly. My old grill will continue for years to come.

I ordered a replacement Weber Q140 Electric Grille Controller unit, when my original unit died. When I installed it, I discovered that the controller unit wasn't the problem , something else in the grille wasn't working. S.O.D. worked with me throughout the process. They were very responsive for each of my questions and ended up accepting the controller unit back and provided a timely refund. Thanks S.O.D. !!

cheap materials, cheap quality

Perfect fit, pleased that it worked fine first time right out of the box. Came with an adapter sleeve that was not needed, but nice it was included just in case. Less expensive than OEM Weber, and was in stock when they were not. Included what appears to be OEM Weber instructions, although not needed.

After a number of years, my controller went. $ 140. Hopefully, the new one lasts as long.

Easy to install, works BEAUTIFULLY. So happy, I highly recommend this heating element. My grill is brand new again.

Great grill when it works. I own three Q140 (2)and one Q1400 have replaced 5 controllers in 4 years. Weber has a problem and is during nothing to correct it. I have contacted Weber three times and after trying to tell them I can’t be the only person having a problem. All they want to do is sell you another controller and tell you it’s your fault for using an extension cord. Beware buyers until Weber gets it act together on this problem.
