After We Fell (After series, The)

This series was amazing. In the beginning, there were points where I wasn't sure if I could get through much more of what I then termed the characters' 'melodrama'. However. If you take a look at it all, really absorb where these characters are coming from in the very beginning, the internal demons, mishaps, and misunderstandings they both toil through just like any of us damaged people would, and in some cases have, gone through... It's a very human tale. The emotions depicted in this story from the insecurities of either perspective, the exhaustion loving just about anyone can and does create, to the long lasting damage that trauma can cause, are raw, unforgiving, and heartbreakingly real. I have never read a romance series that encompasses all of the dark, gritty, and breathtakingly beautiful alike as I have in these books, and I am so very glad to have found this series. Thank you for sharing uour brilliance with us. ♡

I can’t but help the need to buy the fourth book! I have loved this series and the love story behind Hessa is beautiful! I love their love story in this book how he has tried to control his anger and better himself for their relationship. I enjoy every chapter and can’t seem to put the book down! Love this series and now I can’t wait for book four. I can’t wait for the movies but I love the books details much more! Maybe a series should be made from the books with more details! Thank you for another great read and I can’t wait to begin book4!

After We Fell is where the story truly starts to mature, and it pulled me in from start to finish. This book dives deeper into Tessa and Hardin’s relationship than ever before — not just the passion and the drama, but the hard conversations, the personal growth, and the challenges that test them in completely new ways. I loved seeing Tessa step into her independence and fight for the future she wants, while Hardin faces the parts of himself he’s run from for so long. The character development in this book is some of the strongest in the series. Their journey feels messy, complicated, emotional, and incredibly real. What makes this book stand out is how many twists it delivers. Just when you think you know where the story is heading, Anna Todd drops another surprise that keeps you reading until way too late at night. It’s dramatic, heartfelt, and full of moments that stay with you long after the last page. If you’re already invested in the series, After We Fell is an essential read. It sets the stage for everything that comes next — with intensity, emotion, and so much heart.

I watched the movies a while back and they were good so I was excited to read the books. These have been a lot more push and pull than I feel the movies had been, obviously a lot more detailed arguments, HOWEVER, the extra details (which is where books are better) made it that much better.

I wanted to read this series after seeing the trailer for the movie! I’ve seen these books around for so long but I just don’t read large books because I lose interest quickly. But since the trailer looked so good, I thought I’d give it a try. WOW am I glad I did! I was captured from page 1, sentence 1! I never looked back. These books are absolute page turners! I love bad boys. I knew there was more to Hardin. My heart broke for him over and over..even though he also made me so mad at how very hurtful he was. And dang was he a jerk..a lot. Tessa was so naive and innocent and frustrating so many times throughout that I wanted to throw my kindle..but I loved her too. I just felt so immersed in this story. Each book leaves off exactly where the previous one left off except Before. It’s hard to write a review for each book because it’s one gigantic love story. So I waited until I read them all. Beautifully written! Another new to me story I should have read long ago! Looking forward to to see this on screen...hopefully!!

It arrived in a very unattractive state. There were fingerprint stains on it and the cover was damaged as well as some pages. I'd expected a better product. The book is definitely worth a read, but my personal copy isn't the actual definition of a newly purchased novel. Very disappointed. I'm rating it five stars because the content is my favourite but regarding the condition, I wouldn't even give it two stars.

After we fell is by far my favourite of all 4 after books! This book i feel gives so much clarity into Tessa & Hardin's story, a lot of unanswered questions are finally answered in this instalment. Don't get me wrong the story is a little farfetched that this amount of things can go wrong in two peoples lives in such a small space of time BUT if you are as invested in the characters as much as I am you wont care and will thrive of everything that is thrown at both Tessa & Hardin. And if you thought the cliff hanger at the end of After we Collided is shocking you wait till you get to the end of this book!!! This book shows truly how much Hardin loves Tessa and wants to be a better man for her but he cant change the way he is because of everything he has gone through and had to deal with and Tessa finally realises this and starts to accept that Hardin will always have traits and reactions that she doesn't approve of but because she loves him so fiercely she is willing to accept the small changes he is making for her benefit. This story is such an up and down, on and off love story that you can't put it down you are on the edge of your seat constantly waiting to see what happens next! I think if your a hopeless romantic and love a love story you will always love these books and want more, its passionate, steamy and erotic when it comes to it and gives it that edge on the romance side that makes you invest so much in wanting the best outcome for these two. I cant explain how SOOOO much happens in this 3rd book that you have to continue the story!! I have recommended so many friends to reads the book series and not just watch the films because a lot is cut out of the films and I am very interested to see how they portray this book into a film version.
