It was that tool I needed in a bind. Didn't want to remove that upper coolant bridge to remove the starter on an LS430. A flex head ratcheting wrench was able to do the passenger side, but in the driver's side the outside of the wrench was too thick. This little tool did the job. The fact that you can lock the position of the head is just another perk of this little guy. Some reviews day it is not durable. The ratchet head is small, but the handle is relatively long in comparison. I would in no way expect this thing to handle a lot of torque, but it's far strong enough for its size. Too me this tool has been worth every penny and then some. If you're a tool guy this little thing is a must.

As mentioned in other reviews, it's not for heavy duty use. Keeping that in mind, it's an awesome tool when you need to work in a tight space. I bought one for my work box and another one to keep at home.

Considering the brand I am slightly disappointed but considering the price I am quite happy. First off let me say that even though it has a 12in overall length I would not advise using this to break heavily stuck bolts loose, it's just not heavy duty enough for that. I got this rachet to use with my large bit set I got off the tool truck to help reaching into tight places. For the good: The long reach gives good access to tight spots. The flexible head has an optional lock that allows it to keep shape when needed but also allows for constant flex for maneuvers around other objects. The included ¼in square driver adapter allows the use of stand drive sockets adding to the options of use for the tool. The handle is slim but strong and feels good in the hand. Now the bad: While the flex head locks solid, when unlocked it feels kind of clicky and is not completely smooth. Both the flex and the directional levers are a bit rough in their engagement but they do stay put. The rachet head itself is a bit loose but not bad. The clicks of the rachet action are not as fine as I would have hoped but they are positive and seem to hold well considering the size of the tool head. The price is great giving good value. Considering it's intended use I feel it's quite durable. Just do go using it like a breaker bar.

This tool is just what my husband needed. So good he purchased two! The way the head tilts makes it great to reach into a tight spot. The torque is ideal. It is so easy to use and doesn't slip. I love the silver finish--looks great, feels great, works great!

Great 1/4 gear wrench ratchet. 12” long. Flex head that has a lock to keep the position. Solid craftsmanship. There is a bit you can remove to use any other Hex bit with it. Making that a huge bonus. For the price you can’t beat this ratchet.

I would really like to endorse this wrench but it has a design flaws. The 1/4 drive is itself a 1/4 shank that is removable. This is a GENIUS idea because you can remove it and there is a 1/4 hex hole in the wrench into which you can inset the drive shank of many tools. A BRILLIANT idea! The problem is that the shank does not lock into place except with a ball detent and spring, so when you put a normal 1/4 in socket in the drive and use it and then go to remove it, more often than not the drive shank disconnects from the tool and you have the socket AND the drive shank in one hand. Just as modern ratchets have a button to press to release the socket, this tool needs a positive retainer on the drive shank that only separates from the tool when activated.

Great tool for those hard to reach spots. Problem is its a flex head and when torqueing hardware it doesn't seem to be able to take much before it breaks

Excelente chave de catraca com a cabeça flexível. Bem comprida o que proporciona um torque maior. O material é de excelente qualidade e muito resistente. Recomendo o produto!

Great craftsmanship. Very nicely built. Looks as good as a Snap-on or MAC product. I would definitely purchase this ratchet again. Hoping I never need to, if the build quality is as good as their presentation. Detents on the flex head have positive engagement. Thumb wheel on the top is a nice bonus and works well. Very solid, well built tool. GearWrench makes very nice tools for their price point. Well worth the investment.
