I've been seed starting for years and have been using flimsy taped up trays and domes for a couple of years. After seeing these on Amazon, I decided it was time for me to get a much better quality product. The trays are very strong as is the dome. Plus having a 5 inch dome will work much better as I have had to jerry rig my old short domes to accommodate seedling height. No more! They fit 2 across on my grow light plant stand from Gardners. My only wish is that I could have order 4 instead of 3.

These domes are super strong. I teach horticulture to special needs students and these trays far surpass the typical seedling trays. The students make their own soil blocks for the seed germination and they fit nicely in this size. Plus the domes are high and allow us to have more time to transplant the starts. ❤️

These are very sturdy trays and lids that can be used multiple times without breaking. They held up well transporting seed starts from inside to outside over several weeks. The humidity domes is also thick and well made. I have had other brands that were flimsy but these should hold up well over time. Great value for the money.

Product was on time and what I expected

I love these. So many are too short and the seedlings outgrow before they are ready to move out. These high domes work great. I also love that you can control the moisture retention by spinning two adjustment knobs at the top. I bought more. Plus, the top and bottom are sturdy and will last for years.

I've had these trays for 5 years now. I use them to bottom water my seedlings, carry my plants in and out when hardening off, and to grow microgreens. They easily and neatly fit 6-cell trays, and they hold up to heatmats and being left outside in the harsh conditions of both winter and summer (whoops!). Speaking of being left outside, the only reason I'm buying these again is because a large maple tree branch fell on these and cracked them. The same branch completely broke my picnic table. The trays are still useable even after that! If I put 2 trays together they'll still hold water and 6-cells. But by doubling up, I now don't have enough trays. They're strong and usefull, definitely buying more!

I really like the size and construction of these trays. Having vents in the hood gives good control of humidity. I already have sprouts in my first tray. The height of the lid allows for some growth of the seedlings before needing to remove it.

Tray is sturdy and strong, lid also good quality. One big drawback, the lid secures on the outside of the tray, so when placed on a warm mat with lid closed as soon as condensation occours water drips down the lid and finds it's way outside the tray making a water mess on the surface you have the trays. You will have to wipe out daily the condensation water. The regular commercial trays with lds DO NOT have this problem.
