I’ve used Renegade bifocal sunglasses for years. They’re great for fishing, enabling me to see beneath the surface as well as more expensive glasses would, but with the added benefit of the bifocals... It makes it easier to tie knots, remove hooks or change lures without having to put on my “readers.”They’re wonderful for driving, removing the glare from the windshield while letting me see the instrument panel clearly as well as check my phone, or see my watch with my aging eyes. I recommend them, for the price, without hesitation. However, a word of caution: Because of the earpiece design, if the glasses are closed tightly, it is possible to scratch the inside of the lenses (a lesson I learned years ago with my first pair of Renegades). So be aware of that slight flaw and compensate accordingly and these glasses should serve anyone well.

Work well as sunglasses and allow for reading smaller print.

The glasses gave a really clear view, protected well against the sun and I could read with them. The reading wasn't always easy, the lenses are pretty small, I think. The glasses were much more comfortable to wear, then I had expected. I am thrilled with them!

Vision: Great

These glasses provide excellent wraparound protection for cycling and the small cheater lenses are just big enough to read your computer without obstructing forward vision. Also, there's very little distortion and the tinting (gray lenses) is very neutral.

My husband likes the style and quality of the glasses and the fact that they are polarized and have reader lenses. Gave 4 out of 5 stars only because he said the reader area needs to be a little larger (higher).

I use these sunglasses all day long to assist me in my job. I have to constantly read written words and instructions while operating a vehicle - usually in very bright sunlight. I would not be able to perform at the level I am used to without these awesome sunglasses. They look great and work very well. They come with a soft storage bag in which I place them at the end of the day. Take care of them, and they'll take care of you.

For distance these are quite good. I am down rating them to only 3 stars because the bifocal lens is way too small. I bought them for driving and looking ahead is fine, but looking down at the dashboard is blurry unless I tilt my head way back to pick up that tiny speck of a bifocal part. Not very practical. The optics are clear, no problem that way. It is too bad. Call these a near miss.
