Easy to use with existing Arduino libraries
Purchased this to create a model rocket motor test stand. Used with Arduino UNO, microSD card, and 20kg load cell. Worked well, however, be aware this is not an I2C device. It doesn't make any claim that it is, but if you have any questions consult the HX711 datasheet.

Works great!
The Sparkfun folks did a great job providing documentation that made connecting the load cell and HX711 amp to my Arduino. The library support is also excellent.

Does not work
The cheaper ones from China works. I was hoping the Sparkfun one is better and more stable, but it does not even work.

worked great for a few days then died
Hi, normally I support SparkFun products but in this case I would urge caution. I purchased this product because I was using cheap HX711 knockoffs from China and they weren't stable so I thought a good US product would be better. I was right in that it was more stable but after a few days it just stopped working. I have no idea what happened to it because it was in a working system, untouched by human hands. Possibly a voltage spike I guess but none of the other components were affected. I paid 4x more for this than the knockoff and am disappointed. I'll be going back to the cheaper alternative as I don't want to chance another failure.

Worst then the green cheap ones
I had high expectations, at 3x the cost of the rest and made in Colorado USA 🇺🇸, I expected a reasonably working product… If I run a sketch with or with out the unit connected the load values are the same …. Bummed out ☹️ I don’t see any reason to spend more for equivalent results to overseas products
