Simple piece of kit. Works well. Unscrew old aerial fit new one........simple

I used this to replace a broken aerial on my Roberts Gemini RD-45 DAB radio - you need to rotate the aerial to get access to the screw that holds the aerial to the base fitting - then need a screwdriver that will get the screw out, a flexible shaft driver might be easier. Watch out as 2 very thin washers are either side of the fitting, and easy to lose. Also they are fiddly to put back in, I used tweezers to hold them and position into new fitting. The aerial base is slightly thinner than the original, but if you tighten up the screw it squeezes the metal base on either side to hold the aerial - or you could fit extra washers if you had them. Aerial works well, no more crackling and I have a spare aerial should I need it - the genuine replacement is £15 for one aerial, so this is great value.

Good value for money upgrade. I have been using a 300mm long version for the last few years after the original snapped. Reception wasn't that great. It sounds better now with the longer aeriel. Seems durable.

Great product and quality item. Would've given 5 stars if the seller had added the screws. It's a small thing and hopefully it wouldn't raise cost by that much and I would've happily paid the difference. Other than that all good arrived earlier than expected very speedy delivery Item works really well. Long range very clear sound
