This seat is super sturdy and truly soft closing. Almost too soft. If you wait for the seat to go down on its own and you have to go number #2 real bad your best off helping it down. The other weird thing are the little plastic screws are designed to break off on purpose, I guess to make sure you don’t over tighten them. I really didn’t see a reason for that design. I was confused at first because they seemed to stick out too far. But the cryptic illustration made me believe that I wanted to break them, which I did so I guess it wasn’t as cryptic as I was thinking.

OMG I LOVE IT! This sounds funny but it’s comfortable, the edges around the seat are curved so it doesn’t dig into you legs. VERY sturdy. Fits perfectly. Very easy to install. Definitely worth the money. I was hesitant spending that much, but glad I did. The cover closes slowly.

This quality of this elongated toilet seat is excellent. It’s made of sturdy wood and feels solid and well built. One thing I really like is that it doesn’t dip or shift when you sit on it, which makes it much more comfortable and reliable than cheaper options. The soft close feature works perfectly, closing smoothly and quietly every time, no more slamming lids. Installation was incredibly easy and straightforward. It honestly only took me about 5–10 minutes from start to finish. The included instructions are clear, simple, and easy to follow, which made the whole process quick and easy.

Fairly well made, easy to install. The only issue I can foresee being an issue is the "hardware." The screws appear to be nylon. While the seat and lid are good quality, I'm concerned with the potential failure later down the line. Overall, the price is good for what you're getting. We'll see how things go.

Love everything about this model toilet seat. Fairly easy to install. (Most difficult part was removing old seat.). This seat has style, it is durable and love the slow close. This was a replacement for same brand, which held up for several years. Only reason I replaced was actually my fault. Take heed when instructions are to clean with mild soap and water only. I used bathroom cleaners and bathroom wipes. It wore off the finish .

This toilet seat is great. Heavy duty, not cheap plastic. So easy to install. Great instructions. Easy to clean. Soft close is great, especially with 6 boys. Highly recommend

This is the best design that I have seen for a toilet seat ever! It was very easy to install without metal screws that corrode in the humid bathroom conditions. I love that it is wood and not cheap plastic that appears cheap in our nice home. The lid is not a "pop on" to the seat type that pops off when you sit back. It has a feature that allows adjustment to attach sliding forward or backward for toilets that might be as much as an inch size difference for a perfect fit.

I wish I had splurged on a nicer seat. This does the job and the slow close is functional. Quality is decent outside of the hinge. However, the hinge has already moved and cracked a little bit, and it has yellowed. It’s hard to clean that without full disassembly.

Good overall quality at the the ~70 dollar price point. Both lids closely separately to each other and at a slow pace (~20 seconds) I expect thus to speed up as time goes on though so best it closes slowly at the start. Very easy to install but will need a 1/2" so ket/wrech/Crescent as the plastic bolt head will sheer completely off when installing per instruction and use and will not install properly without sherring off. There is still a Philips slot for removal in future though. Comfortable and solid feeling and does not so far wriggle in place as a plastic one would tend to do.

You pay for the quality, which is fine...... very solid and well secured to toilet bowl

I got this seat first for one bathroom to try it out. Fairly easy to install, but tool is needed (instructions provided). Once installed, it's great. Very sturdy, thick, and strong. I can easily stand on it and it does not bend nor move at all. Makes it easy now to clean the vent in the ceiling. Item is super easy to clean. But the best part is how both the seat and lid close slowly and super quietly on their own. No more noise from shutting down the toilet seat. I loved it so much, the next week i ordered 2nd one for my other bathroom. Highly recommend. Quality workmanship.
