Accurate, high-quality cut threads. Nice, non-lowest-bidder seal and screen. Thick chrome plating. Smooth bore with no sign of poor tool marks inside. This is $12 for a length of threaded pipe. But worth it to me, as quality seems appropriate. I need this to outlast the shower head I'm attaching to it... and given what I received and installed, feel comfortable rating it highly. Five stars. Again, received a very nicely-finished product: no flaws, all pieces present, in minimal no-nonsense packaging, well-padded and wrapped for shipment. Reminds me of when *all* products would be made and packaged this way -- with pride... and not concerned about chiseling every penny of content off it or making specious marketing claims the won't back up, like countless products post-covid. MY WIFE IS 5'2'' TALL IM 6'2'' TALL AND MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR HER TO REACH THE REMOVEMOVABLE HAND HELD SHOWER WAND. OUR SHOWER STALL IS TEXTURED SO THE SUCTION CUP OR GLUE ON ITEMS WONT WORK. BY ATTACHING THIS 4'' PIPE EXTENSION SHE NOW CAN REACH THE WAND EASILY AND IT WORKS FOR BOTH OF US.

Excellent and cheap way to lower shower head. Five minutes to install.

Being a short senior, it was necessary to extend the shower head in my newly installed walk in shower. I was unable to reach it when I stepped into the shower. This product was of high quality, easy to install and the best value for the money! I would highly recommend this item. Don’t waste money on a plumber; you can more than likely install it yourself and it will be worth it.

Good fit and finish

My master bathroom has a shower head that is very high on the ceiling, so this little extender was perfect to bring it closer down. The water flow is great, and the value for your money is perfect. Overall, it looks great. I do wish they would offered other colors though. My current pipe for the shower is a blackish bronze.

I bought this to modify the original Grohe shower head for my aging parents (seniors). The shower head base connecting to the wall was non-standard so I could not replace it. Fortunately the base had a standard thread to allow workaround modifications including extension to make the shower head lower & reachable. Since they just needed the hand shower, I purchased the additional Moen Chrome Remote Dock which has worked really well just stuck to shower wall with no screw (cleaned the wall really well before sticking). There didn't seem to be an option to purchase the hand shower wand without the base which we didn't need. As described, solidly made, packed very well, and so Chromey you can see your face in it. Does the job as well

Bought 2 of these, 1 was easy to install, but the second was a little more difficult it leaked a bit. After couple of tries it stopped leaking. Just didn't want to torque the piping too much and break anything due to the hand held shower heads being plastic. Also didn't want to mark the piping even though I used a rag around the pipe. They work really well by dropping the shower head down that extra few inches. Glad to find these here cause I couldn't find anything in any hardware stores in my area.

It is perfect

My showerhead was atop close to the caddy that holds the shampoo bottles so I could not tilt it to the right angle. This extension pipe was the PERFECT solution! Would highly recommend!
