Very comfortable
I use this holster for my Sig P365. I am 74 years old and have carried compact 1911, full-sized 1911, various Glocks, in good leather and synthetics over the years. I carry inside the waist band. The problem with all is comfort and the problem with comfort is thickness. A very comfortable carry is my RI 1911 compact, but in Wright leather and others, the holster makes the rig too thick for comfort, or if it is soft and thin and comfortable, the gun can fall out. I finally found a very thin leather made in South America for a Glock, that carries the compact 1911 comfortably, but holster collapses when gun is removed and security is questionable in active situation. Ruger LCR is too wide for comfort. Ruger LCP in Sticky Holster is not bad, but awkward to shoot in my opinion. The Sig P365 in the CYA is not only very comfortable, but protects and holds the pistol securely and stays open to return to holster. I have been skeptical of rigid holsters until I tried CYA and I love the thing. Adjustable tension is a great feature as I do not wear a belt anymore, but clip holster directly to jeans held up by suspenders. Clip works with one hand instead of the wresting match most spring metal clips require and adjustable tension holds my gun securely without drawing holster along with gun when everything is adjusted properly. This is a good product.

Quit looking at other options, and just buy this.
If you are looking at this review, quit looking elsewhere and just buy this since this is exactly what you need. One huge advantage this holster has over any other kydex offering is that it covers the magazine release. It's impossible to drop the magazine while it's holstered, no matter how hard I pressed on it. I'v looked at all the other Shield 45 holsters, and this was the only one that covers the magazine release. I wouldn't bother with any other holster since I don't want the possibility of my magazine to go flying out and possibly losing it. This thing fits the pistol like a worn in glove, and locks the pistol in very well. I loosened the retention adjustment screws and got it to where it's not possible to shake the pistol out of the holster no matter how hard you try, but it still pulls out without issue. This holster also has elongated channels for the slide lock to slide through instead of the material scraping along it every time you remove / insert the pistol like on most kydex. The clip seems well done. It's got allot of retention, even without a belt. I tried it with sweat pants and it healed in place when pulling the pistol out. Honestly, I was very surprised since it's got a pretty good hold on the pistol and those sweat pants barely had anything for it to grab onto. The finish of the holster seems good quality. No sharp edges, and I can tell they sanded it in spots to get a nice smooth edge. This is exactly what I expected out of a proper American made product. One last thing I thought I would mention is about the Carbon Fiber option. I have to say, I hate fake carbon fiber on anything. I own real carbon fiber things like my Zero Tolerance knives, and I'v done work with carbon fiber in the Aviation field. It lacks the fiber weave to look real, and it's only just the pattern that is somewhat similar to real material. It doesn't feel like carbon fiber either. Even though it isn't very realistic, I still like it and it looks allot better to have the pattern on the holster than to be plain black. It's definitely worth the $2 price premium in my opinion.

Surprisingly comfortable and well made...
I have an IWB leather holster for my Glock G43 but I am not comfortable carrying an SA pistol that has a trigger safety in a soft holster unless it is not chambered but the idea of carrying is to have the pistol ready to fire if it is ever needed. So I decided to try a Kydex holster which makes me feel much better while carrying a Glock with a round in the chamber. If you are like me, you most likely have a bunch of holsters because most people start with inexpensive holsters and then start spending more money for more appropriate and comfortable holsters. However, I found that while this holster is not too expensive (around $40.00 at the time of this review), it is very well made and it is very comfortable. I carry my pistol at 5 o'clock (more like 4:30) because I find that this position offers the best case scenario for being able to get to the firearm quickly, have minimal printing and not having to readjust the holster getting in and out a vehicle. Having the firearm in this holster I do not feel it bothering me while I sit even in vehicles that have bucket seats. It was delivered with a slight cant (not sure how many degrees) that allows me to grip the pistol easily and did not have to adjust it at all. The thing that I like the most is that it covers the length of the G43 slide perfectly so it does not touch your body while it makes it very easy to reholster the firearm without looking. Retention is adjustable and I loosened it just a bit when I first received it so now the firearm is still secure enough not to fall off even if I turn it upside down and shake it but also easy to pull of the holster without stretching your belt while the holster is pulling back on the pistol. I own other IWB holsters for other pistols that I would call "perfect" but I paid at least 3 times this price and had them custom made so if you do not want to wait a couple of months or pay the price of a custom made holster, this one is highly recommended and you cannot go wrong with it. Also, you may want to consider the Hogue 18200 Hand All Beavertail Grip sleeve, Glock 42 & 43, black for this firearm, it helps a lot if you have large hands.
