The temperature when I put this on my cup was super cold meaning it’s really really good at wiping away heat. It’s amazing for value of money as it comes with so much and the quality overall is sooo nice I love it so much. Would recommend A LOT. Other thermal pastes have horrible quality and horrible value for money while this one is just the opposite

I do a fair amount of tinkering with computers and laptops, so having a decent sized tube of thermal paste is an essential part of your IT toolkit. So far I've used this to refresh the paste in an older laptop, replace the thermal paste in a dual CPU server at work during a motherboard swap and it's worked very well. I always try to use a bit more than you think you need, using too little will do more damage than using a bit too much. Excellent thermals as you'd expect from arctic if you're familiar with their coolers, easy to apply and the syringe is easy to use and get the right amount of compound.

MX4 has become my de facto thermal paste. I've used it in laptops, desktop PC's, PS3's and PS4's. It's very easy to apply, doesn't separate in the tube over time and is just a really reliable option. I'm sure there are other pastes out there that will shave off another couple of degrees on the temps but they all have negative tradeoffs. When I use MX4 I know that the application will last for years, I'll get a good application the first time and I'm not risking a short as I would be with some of the other products. I'll be buying this for as long as it's available, I don't even bother looking into alternatives anymore.

It is cheap paste, it's non conductive. 20g will probably last until desktop PCs are no longer a thing... What more could you want?

Easy to apply, good performance and price

PS4 PRO - Sounded like a full on Jet plane whilst playing to the point I'm almost shouting to have a conversation with my wife. Enough was enough yesterday. I did a good and I mean GOOD bit of research on YouTube watching many videos on stripping down the PS4 PRO giving it a proper clean and changing the thermal paste. MX-4 seemed to be one of the most popular so again on YouTube trying to decide which paste, and decided to just go for it and go with the MX-4. I downloaded a decibel app on my phone to do a before and after. How accurate the app is I have no idea but the results was brilliant, so good it was like turning on the PS4 when I first got it. I placed the phone near the back of the console, muted the TV and didn't make a sound just so the phone would pick up the console noise. I put the same game on and loaded the same part of the map for consistency. Before MX-4 - peaked at 85db OMG I said it was loud lol After MX-4 - peaked at 47db... woop, woop... almost half the noise, you could barely hear it running. Myself and the MRS was amazed, why I hadn't done this before I've got no idea. So it's definitely made a massive difference for me and my advice for anyone in the same boat. JUST GOT FOR IT. Get clued up on YouTube, Order MX-4, spend an hour or so getting it done and you'll be amazed too and wished you'd done it sooner lol. I've got 6 PS4's in my household (yep 6) so 1 down 5 to go. Feel happy and confident now though.
