Perfect for my garage mancave!!
Packaging was perfect and it even had some dings on it but the integrity of the actual table box was intact. It has double box and MDF packaging to hold it very secure. I have a small impact with allen head socket set that made assembly a breeze. I also added wood glue to the smaller screws that fasten i to the particle board to make it more secure and sturdy. Its perfect for the price! Some negatives are the bumpers are a little stiff the provided cue balls are very cheap so I purchased a separate better set, the pool cues are terribly warped so I also bought a set of 6 that are much better. I didn't even think they would be included but it comes ready to play out of the box! I was originally looking at much more expensive tables but this was perfect and I saved enough that it allowed me to also purchase an air hockey table also!!

Great product!!
To be honest, after reading the negative reviews on this product I was a little skeptical about buying it, but once it arrived and I put it together, all I say is that the majority of the negative reviews are a joke! I bought this pool table in cyber Monday for $400 and it was super easy to put together, I don’t know why some people are having trouble “lining it up” or saying “it’s cheap” it’s actually decent quality and very sturdy. Yes the legs are plastic but it’s supported by a solid wood piece, yes the rails aren’t good but after you break it in, it’s works perfectly. Some of you people couldn’t put together a paper airplane if your life depended on it, I am no expert by any means necessary, just an average joe who can follow directions and has patience.

Very low quality (get the fold up one)
First off you have less than 10% chance of getting this thing undamaged. I thought I got lucky...I did not. This is a sorry excuse for a pool table. I didn't realize there was different grades of fiberboard, this is definitely the lowest. Its basically cardboard, and I mean all of it even the top (when lifting it you can feel the whole top flexing)...my sister was over i told her not to lean on it it might fall over. Within the first week peices have literally just fallen off of it. The bumpers are awful, the felt is almost like a fabric you'd buy at Walmart, the leg castings are plastic...and not even a single peice each leg is 4 peices you have to pop together. I feel like I'm playing on a home made pool table, but hey my kids have fun on it so I'd give it a solid 1.5 stars!!

What you would expect for the price
First off, this is the cheapest “large” pool table on Amazon. Don’t expect it to be professional grade. I went back and forth on whether I should buy a used slate table (and pay the price of the table again to get it moved and set up in my house) or something cheap and cheerful - and went with the latter option as I have young kids. I think this table will serve it’s purpose for a few years, and likely will then need to be thrown away. As far as I have understood from other reviews, you’ll never be able to replace the felt, so once that’s gone, the table is scrap. All this being said, the quality is a little better than I expected, and the table looks nice. Table arrived well packaged and with no damage, but with a tiny spot of glue on the cloth - a bit annoying, but not impacted play so far. I had no issues setting it up 95% myself (eventually will need another person to help you lift the table top onto the base. Took me about 2.5 hours to set up. Nothing was damaged, and all the holes lined up fine. A few screws to attach the plastic leg covers to the wooden legs could have done with guide holes to hold the screw in place for screwing in (so I drilled some myself), but otherwise all was easy and well explained in the instructions. Hardest part is levelling it, but somehow I lucked out after I gave up trying for 20 mins and it seems to now be level (according to my iPhone). I’ve only had it for a day so far, and here are my initial thoughts on playing on this table: 1) The supplied cues are rubbish. They are not straight and have terrible tips on them. Throw them out and get a couple of decent cues so you can enjoy the game. Luckily I already have one. 2) I got the beige cloth, and it is a little darker than I was expecting it to be, but plays well enough. The balls run pretty well, but not super fast. 3) The pockets are very wide and forgiving, making it a very easy table to play on (maybe a bit too easy, as it is making me look like a pro…) 4) The cushions are terrible and don’t offer enough bounce. I would say these are the real let-down of this table, and I would otherwise have considered rating it 5 stars (vs expectations for the price). You end up having to hit the ball far harder than you normally would to try to get enough bounce to get into the position you want. Overall, this table does the job and is fun to play on at home. I would have preferred to have paid no more than $350 for it, rather than $500+, but it is what it is. Whether or not I should have spent the extra to get a decent used slate table - time will tell… A slate will definitely have more re-sale and/or re-furbishment potential down the line.

Good times with friends an family
Bought this model Pool table 15 years ago not expecting to much on quality or longevity but very pleased shooting it very regularly for 8 years until I sold my house and gave it away. I always hoped I could have a house again and get a small pool table to shoot. I just purchased this one again and they have made a few upgrades which help but they took away the real leather pockets which is kind of a bummer but all and all I think it's still a good buy for the price. It's no professional table by any means but fun 7 ft table to hit a few balls. Pleased in the packaging with multiple box layers with foam. I was struggling getting it into my basement where I had to force it at times through tight quarters. Outer box was damaged in a few spots where I figured I would have to deal with it but when I opened it there wasn't a scratch.
