Small, Compact and Works Perfectly.
This UGreen Gigabit 10/100/1000Mbps PCIe Network Adapter arrived the following day as promised.Packaging was sturdy and well presented - being from a graphic design background I appreciate well designed and practical packaging.Inside the contained the network adapter inside a sealed anti-static bag, a micro adapter (see photo), driver CD, instruction booklet and a 'thank you' card from UGreen. All-in-all, very professional and high quality.Fitting the network adapter was a breeze, and installing the drivers just as simple. The device has run smoothly and perfectly giving me download speeds of 73-75Mbs and upload of 17-18Mbs. Couldn't be happier. Prior to this, my MSI motherboard's (an X470 Gaming M7AC) Killer Ethernet adapter was giving inconsistent speeds and would drop altogether, even after bios updates, drivers updates - nothing seemed to work, save for replacing the adapter completely.UGreen are extremely competitively priced and at first I wasn't sure if the price reflected the quality of the product, but I thought, for the price I wasn't going to lose much. I'm glad to say, my doubts were unfounded. So my online gaming, Netflix and Prime viewing can go uninterrupted, all thanks to this little adapter by UGreen.I will state that I also use a Cat7 ethernet cable produced by the same company, UGreen, to ensure both future-proofing and smooth running.Thank you for reading this.

Works flawlessly on Windows 10
It worked straight away on my Windows 10 PC. Truly plug and play. I was surprised that Windows couldn't find a more up-to-date driver than the default Microsoft one dated 2015, but it works so no complaints at all for a budget ethernet card.UPDATE: Usually I don't install drivers that come on CDs supplied with new hardware because they're always out of dated compared to what Windows Update will download and install. However, in this case I'm wrong. On the supplied CD is a Realtek driver dated 2016 (1 year newer than the default Microsoft driver) but it provides many more advanced features for this ethernet card. I advise you to install it, even though it's still old, it's newer than the default one. I'm writing this in Sep 2022.One thing to be aware of is the Transmit and Receive buffer can't be set any higher than 128 and 512 respectively. I would have liked to quadruple that, but I guess this is the difference between a budget card and one that costs twice as much. Fortunately my network activity is low and it makes no difference to my Internet download/upload speed from this PC.

Great Purchase • No Boot Issues • Easy Install • Windows 10
Easy install. No boot issues. Worked instantly.Fit perfectly with no problems, easiest install ever. The connection to the internet is 10/10 with no drop outs or loss of speed. You don't need to do anything fancy, just plug in and go.Working fine on Windows 10.This thing was pretty much a life saver for me, used it for a whole month so far and no issues.**MSI Motherboards Users**There is a few people out there running MSI Motherboards and their internet keeps dropping out, just buy one of these cards and you're set. Running MSI Z390 MEG ACE board here and I kept losing connection and blaming my ISP for it, don't know if this is because of their garbage drivers or a problem with the boards but like I said, this card fixed my problems.

It is a good network card giving me a god normal speed
It is a good network card giving me a god normal speed. I bought it to replace my 2 damaged motherboard ethernet port that kept having issues.I would have given it 5 stars but there was a massive problem... IT DID NOT LINE UP WITH THE PCIe NOTCH WITH THE BRACKET SO I HADTO TAKE THE BRACKET OFF AND INSTALL IT WITH NO EXTRA SUPPORT

Nice fast Gigabit Ethernet
Straight forward piece of paper "manual" with How to install and also a web address for latest drivers. CD of drivers included that covered various operating systems. Two minute job to fit and drivers from disk worked straight away for Windows 7. I am using the dull Gigabit speed offered and finding it nice and fast and trouble free. MY PC is 4 years old and the Ethernet supplied on the motherboard had failed. This was at a nice price point and solves the problem.

Saved my sanity
I was having massive issues with on board Gigabit Ethernet controller and running windows 10 OS, I could not get a stable connection at 100Mbps, let alone 1Gbps. After spending way too much time trying to figure it out with drivers and settings I gave up and ordered this card...It seems to be running on the previous drivers I had installed, there was no installation process and the PC identifies it as the exact same hardware as I was using with the on board port. Everything is flawless, Gigabit connection straight away every time with no hesitation, I feel stupid for wasting so many hours with the crappy on board hardware when this was a measly £10 and came next day.The only issue when I came to install the hardware was a slight misalignment between the port and the case, but I would probably put that at 50/50 between the card and the case, a little tweak of the case and it went in.Really happy with this purchase

Works out the box on win10 but there is a driver you can install.
This is working fine on windows 10 2004 (twenty-zero-four - may 2020 build). the ms driver will drive it fine. However Realtek have a driver on their site which will enable Wake On Lan, Advanced Wake On Lan, and other special settings to do with green ethernet, power saving and queue / buffer lengths. Very detailed. Since Realtek do an 'all in one' driver for networking, then you'll find this card will most likely support the next iteration of windows 10 (or 11 if it ever appears). Performance is great, it's tiny, has a nice blue PCB, and a black backplate (ideal for gaming cases and the like). I bought this because my onboard Intel I211AT falls asleep on reboot, (bios issue waiting for ASUS to fix). This runs slightly better and doesn't have that issue.
